Review uptime, SSL, pagespeed and heartbeat checks, alerts and maintenance windows; create checks.
Overview
Lets an assistant review StatusCake uptime, SSL, pagespeed and heartbeat checks, alerts and maintenance windows, and create or update checks.
- What it does
- A hosted MCP server that connects an assistant to StatusCake monitoring data. Read tools list and fetch uptime checks, uptime history and up/down periods, alerts, SSL checks, pagespeed checks and history, heartbeat checks, contact groups, maintenance windows and monitoring locations. Write tools create or update uptime checks, and create SSL checks, heartbeat checks and maintenance windows. Meta tools report usage status and manage the subscription.
- When to use it
- Use it when you want to inspect or discuss your StatusCake monitoring from an MCP client such as Claude or Cursor, for example to review uptime history, check SSL or pagespeed results, or set up new checks and maintenance windows without opening the StatusCake dashboard.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint; no local install. You need a StatusCake account and its API key (Account, then API Keys), which you provide on first connect. The key is validated and stored per user rather than in config files. Network access to the hosted endpoint is required.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Statuscake in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients
