Privacy-first time tracking for freelancers. EU-hosted, with an MCP server for AI assistants.
Overview
Teetrack's hosted MCP server lets an AI assistant run a freelancer's time tracker in chat: timers, time entries, projects, clients, summaries and calendar…
- What you can do
- Start, stop and inspect running timers
- List, read, log, update and delete time entries
- Create, update and delete projects, tags and clients
- Read time, project and budget summaries and subscription usage
- Review, confirm, bulk-confirm or dismiss calendar-imported draft entries and trigger calendar syncs
- Read and update user display and rounding settings
- When to use it
- Useful for freelancers and consultants who already track billable hours in Teetrack and want to start timers, log time, tidy projects and clients, or ask for billable hours and budget status without leaving the chat.
- Requirements
- A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint with OAuth; no install, API keys or local process. A Teetrack account is required (the free plan works), and the first connection opens a browser login to approve access once. Tools visible to the client depend on the scopes granted.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Teetrack in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/it.teetrack%2Fteetrack/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Teetrack MCP Server
Privacy-first time tracking for freelancers. EU-hosted, with an MCP server for AI assistants.
Teetrack's remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server lets AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot operate your time tracker in chat: start and stop timers, log entries, manage projects and clients, review calendar-imported drafts, and answer questions like "how many billable hours did I log for Acme this month?"
Connect URL:
No install, no API keys, no local process — it's a hosted server (Streamable HTTP) with OAuth. Point your MCP client at the URL above and log in once.

Quick start
claude.ai / Claude Desktop
- Settings → Integrations → Add custom integration
- Paste
https://teetrack.it/api/mcp - A browser window opens with a normal Teetrack login — approve once, and the connection persists.

ChatGPT
ChatGPT connects via its connectors/apps settings using the same URL. Step-by-step: https://teetrack.it/guides/mcp/chatgpt
Microsoft Copilot
Copilot connects using the same URL. Step-by-step: https://teetrack.it/guides/mcp/copilot
Any other MCP client
Any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth can connect to https://teetrack.it/api/mcp. You need a Teetrack account — the free plan works.
Authentication
The first connection opens a standard browser login to your Teetrack account (OAuth). You approve it once; after that the client holds its own authorized connection to your account. No tokens to copy, nothing stored in config files. The tools a client sees are filtered by the scopes granted during that OAuth approval, so some connections may expose a subset of the full list below.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
