A structured story bible for long-form fiction: scenes, characters, world, plot and foreshadowing.
Overview
A remote story-bible server for long-form fiction that lets an assistant save and consult a work's scenes, characters, world, plot and foreshadowing.
- What you can do
- Store and retrieve per-work story settings, manuscript text, characters and worldbuilding, as described in the README's purpose statement. Keep track of plot threads, foreshadowing and open TODOs across a long work. Recall the current state of the story so an assistant can continue consistently. No individual tools are listed in the manifest, so exact operations are not documented here.
- When to use it
- Useful when drafting or consulting a long-form novel with an assistant and you want settings, characters and foreshadowing kept per work rather than re-pasted each session. Best suited to writers who already work with the StoryCanon service.
- Requirements
- A remote endpoint reached over streamable HTTP; no local package or runtime is needed. Authentication is required via OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, or an Authorization bearer token for clients that cannot do OAuth. Network access to the service is required.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open StoryCanon in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/jp.softglow%2Fstorycanon/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

StoryCanon
main への push で .github/workflows/deploy-workers.yml がマイグレーションとデプロイを行う。
2026-08-30 までは AWS(ALB + ECS Fargate + RDS)だった。
docs/cloudflare-cutover.md に残してある。

Prisma
Cloudflare
scripts/build-worker.mjs 経由でローカルの .env 類を退避してからビルドする。

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
