Remote MCP server over an open ledger of U.S. share offerings from SEC EDGAR since 2002, letting assistants search filings, companies, offerings and counts.
What you can do
Search SEC share-offering filings (S-1, F-1, DRS, EFFECT, 424B4 and others) newest first, with links to sec.gov
Look up a company by CIK, ticker or partial name and get its card, offerings and latest 50 filings
List offerings as chains of filings under one registration number, with labels such as IPO, SPAC, Shelf and statuses
Get counts per year or month since November 2002 for IPOs priced, first-time registrations and SPAC registrations
Explain what an SEC form means and which event the ledger records for it
When to use it
Useful when you need to research U.S. IPO, SPAC, shelf or withdrawal activity, trace a company's registration history, or get offering counts over time without querying EDGAR directly.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. Data comes from SEC EDGAR filings since 4 November 2002, updated daily at 06:30 UTC.
Before you install
Labels and statuses are the provider's own reading of filing sequences, not SEC classifications, and the ledger has no prices or deal sizes. It is not investment advice; verify against the linked sec.gov filings before relying on it.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/markets.equitycapital%2Fequitycapital-markets/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Source: U.S. SEC EDGAR filings since 4 November 2002, updated daily at 06:30 UTC. Labels and statuses are equitycapital.markets' own reading of the filing sequence, not SEC classifications. Counts per year or month since November 2002: ipos_priced (IPOs priced: distinct final prospectuses (424B4/424B1) of offerings labelled IPO); first_time_registrations (Offerings labelled IPO or First-time registration, by date of their first filing); spac_registrations (Offerings labelled SPAC, by date of their first filing); withdrawals (Distinct withdrawal requests (RW)); shelf_registrations (Distinct shelf registrations (S-3, S-3ASR, F-3)); shelf_takedowns (Distinct shelf takedowns (424B5); include debt and other securities). 2003 reads low for registration-based series (offerings registered before 4 Nov 2002 are outside the ledger); the current period is to date.
