Overview

AI-generated overview

Connects an assistant to Employed by Guaq AI for live job search across about 5,000 employer ATS boards, plus a personal job profile, ranked feed and…

What you can do
  • Search and count live roles, fetch a single posting, list companies and read company profiles or market signals
  • Manage your own account: read and update your profile, view profile options, get your ranked feed, follow or unfollow companies, set email alerts
  • Track applications: list tracked applications, track or untrack a job
  • Export jobs (local npx server only)
  • Bundled skills, agents and slash commands guide resume-to-shortlist, employer research, market briefs and tracker upkeep
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to search real employer job boards in plain language, turn a resume into a shortlist, research what specific companies are hiring for, or keep a personal application tracker without leaving the chat.
Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint at jobs.guaqai.me, or the local npm package employed-mcp over stdio. An Employed account is required: OAuth sign-in in the browser, or an API key supplied via the GUAQ_API_KEY environment variable for hosts without OAuth. Network access to the service.
Before you install
Sign-in tokens and the GUAQ_API_KEY secret are sent to the service; search filters, posting ids and any profile or tracker changes you agree to are also transmitted. Profile and tracker tools write to your account, and email alert settings can trigger messages. Visa sponsorship marked likely is an inference, not a guarantee, and counts reflect live postings only. Posting text is third-party content.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Employed by Guaq AI in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/me.guaqai.jobs%2Femployed/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Employed by Guaq AI: agent plugin

Live job search for AI agents. Employed by Guaq AI indexes roles verified on about 5,000 real employer applicant-tracking boards (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, SmartRecruiters and more). This plugin connects your agent to it, so you can ask for jobs in plain language and get live roles with the employer's own apply link.

What you get

  • A remote MCP connector at https://jobs.guaqai.me/mcp. Search tools: search_jobs, count_jobs, get_job, list_companies, company_profile, market_signal, api_meta (plus export_jobs on the local npx server). Your own account: get_my_profile, update_my_profile, profile_options, get_my_feed, list_my_applications, track_job, untrack_job, get_my_alerts, follow_company, unfollow_company, set_email_alerts, so you can set up your profile from a CV, read your ranked feed and track applications without leaving the chat.

  • Five skills that teach the agent how to use it well:

    SkillUse it to
employed-jobsSearch with the exact filter vocabulary (domain, seniority, location, work mode, tech, visa signal)
job-search-from-resumeTurn a resume or background into a ranked shortlist
employer-researchSee what one or more employers hire for right now
hiring-market-briefSize demand for a skill, role or city, with limits stated
application-trackerKeep a Markdown or CSV tracker you own
  • Two agents (job-search-agent, employer-research-agent) and three slash commands (/employed:find-jobs, /employed:company, /employed:market) on platforms that support them.

  • Interactive results UI (MCP Apps and the ChatGPT Apps SDK) served by the remote server where the host renders it.

  • No hooks. Nothing in this bundle runs code on your machine.

Every route signs in with an Employed account (OAuth in the browser). API keys from your profile page work too, for hosts without OAuth.

Try it

  • "Find entry-level backend roles in India that likely sponsor a visa."
  • "Which companies are hiring Rust engineers remotely?"
  • "Is Stripe hiring in London right now, and for what?"
  • "Here is my resume. What should I apply to?"

Data this plugin sends

When your agent calls a tool, the connector sends the search filters and ids the agent chose (for example role_type=new_grad, location_scope=india, a company name, a posting id) and your sign-in token to https://jobs.guaqai.me, plus, when you ask it to update your profile or tracker, the profile fields or status you agreed to. It does not send your resume file, conversation, or anything else from your machine. Skills are plain instructions; they contain no code. The optional npx launcher described in docs/INSTALL.md runs the open-source employed-mcp package, pinned to an exact version, and talks to the same service.

Read the privacy policy and terms. Support: https://jobs.guaqai.me/support or [email protected].

Honest by design

  • Every role links to the employer's own apply page. The plugin never applies for you or contacts anyone.
  • Visa sponsorship marked likely is an inference from posting text and employer history, not a guarantee. stated means the posting says so.
  • Counts describe postings live on employer boards, not total headcount or hires.
  • Posting text is third-party content. The skills tell the agent to treat it as data, never as instructions.
