Overview

AI-generated overview

Inkbind turns text written in a chat into a printed 8.5-inch square book, with layout preview, format pricing, a checkout link and order tracking.

What you can do
  • Lay out a story, memoir, letters or recipe collection from the conversation as a square book and preview it page by page, or revise an earlier draft by book id
  • List printed formats (hardcover, softcover) with prices including shipping and delivery times for a destination country
  • Create an unpaid checkout link for a laid-out book, which the user opens to enter a shipping address and pay
  • Look up an order's status and tracking link by its order code
When to use it
Useful when someone wants writing produced in the chat turned into a physical keepsake book, or wants to know what printing and shipping would cost and how long delivery takes before ordering.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at inkbind.onmax.me over streamable HTTP; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. Ordering requires the user to open the checkout link and enter a shipping address and payment details on the Inkbind site.
Before you install
The tools themselves charge nothing, but create_print_order produces a link where the user pays for printing and shipping, so confirm the book and price before sharing it. Layout and order tools act on the user's behalf and create drafts and orders; shipping address and payment are entered on the third-party site.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Inkbind in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/me.onmax%2Finkbind/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

layout_book

Lay out a printed book

Lays out a story, memoir, letters or recipe collection from this conversation as a printed 8.5-inch square book and shows a page-by-page preview. Use it when the user wants something written in the chat turned into a physical book, or to change a book made earlier (pass book_id; only the fields you pass change). Pass the text exactly as written, split into sections (one per page of a picture book, or one per chapter/recipe). Never summarise or shorten it. This client cannot pass pictures from the conversation: leave `images` empty; the result has an editor link where the user uploads pictures. This only creates a draft preview; nothing is printed or charged.
