Stealth web browser for agents: search, fetch, click, download and type in persistent MCP sessions.
Overview
Remote stealth browser for AI agents: search, fetch, click, download and type in persistent sessions over a streamable HTTP endpoint.
- What you can do
- Search and fetch web pages through a stealth browser session
- Click, type and otherwise act on live pages
- Download files encountered during browsing
- Keep state across steps in persistent sessions
- Connect over a single streamable HTTP endpoint with no local install
- When to use it
- Use it when an assistant needs to interact with live websites rather than just read static pages — searching, filling in forms, clicking through flows or downloading files — and you prefer a hosted endpoint over running a browser locally.
- Requirements
- A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variables or headers are declared. The README notes the project has been renamed to diting, with the old v0.6.4 release frozen and no longer updated.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Aginx Browser in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/net.aginx%2Faginxbrowser/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

⚠️ This project has moved
AginxBrowser is now diting.
Same engine, same team, new name. All active development, releases, and issues live at the new address — this repository is frozen at v0.6.4 and kept readable for history.
→ github.com/yinnho/diting
The engine-first browser for AI agents. One Rust binary, built-in V8, no Chromium — HTTP is the only protocol face. Everything this repo was, plus a year of engine work since: ~25 MB cold start, own CSS/layout/paint stack, receipts on every response, flow replay, and a v0.8.x release line.
If you starred this repo, star diting — that's where the next release lands.
Migration notes
Old v0.6.x release assets and the homebrew-aginxbrowser tap stay up so
existing installs keep working; they will not receive updates.
Why the rename
The engine grew its own identity: own V8 integration, own runtime
(diting_runtime), own CSS/layout/paint stack — no Chromium anywhere.
The new name owns that story. Full continuity notes in the
new repo's docs.
The Chinese README carries the same migration notice: 中文迁移说明.
Historical description, superseded by diting:
AginxBrowser
The Browser for AI Agents. See the live web. Read it. Act on it. Remember it. One Rust binary with built-in V8, no Chromium required.
Humans have Chrome. Agents have diting.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
