DatosIA — Central America data

net.datosiav0.1.0Updated Oct 8, 2026

Official public data for Central America and the Dominican Republic, down to the municipality.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Gives an assistant searchable official public data for Central America and the Dominican Republic, down to municipality level, with cited sources.

What it does
Connects an MCP client to thousands of indicators and records covering Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Belize and the Dominican Republic. Tools include plain-language data search, indicator lookup and querying by place and period, place resolution and profiles, retail price search, public procurement and supplier search, certified company lookup, news and entity timelines and networks, legal and gazette search, research search, live source calls, currency conversion and calendars. Every answer cites its source.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs regional statistics, prices, procurement, legal, news or research data for Central America or the Dominican Republic, especially at department or municipality level. It suits questions such as local price comparisons, municipal population and income, state suppliers, crime trends or import records.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package is needed. Authentication is OAuth 2.1 with a free account, or an x-api-key header from a free key. A free tier is offered, with paid plans for higher limits. Network access to the endpoint is required.
Before you install
The server asks for an account sign-in or an x-api-key credential, so treat that key as a secret. It also exposes marketplace tools for buying or publishing datasets and for drafting datasets, which may involve payment or publishing data; check terms before using them. Queries and reported issues are sent to a third-party service.
