Checks a counterparty before an AI agent pays: what the evidence supports, and for how much.

VerifiedStreamable HTTPWeb executableFinanceSecurity & Monitoring

Overview

AI-generated overview

Fidren checks a counterparty before an AI agent pays, returning what payment action the observed evidence supports and for how much.

What you can do
  • Check a counterparty before payment: given an unfamiliar payee and a requested amount, the assistant gets back which payment action the observed evidence supports, the exposure that evidence justifies for that amount, and the reasoning behind it.
  • Compare amounts: the same counterparty and evidence can yield a different supported action when the requested amount changes.
When to use it
Use it when an agent is about to pay a counterparty it has not dealt with before and you want a pre-payment check of what the evidence supports and how much exposure is justified.
Requirements
Remote endpoint at api.fidren.net over streamable HTTP; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. No authentication is declared.
Before you install
The server returns a recommendation about payment exposure, not a guarantee; treat its output as advisory before any transfer. The manifest declares no authentication, so consider how requests and counterparty details are transmitted. It does not itself move funds.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Fidren in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/net.fidren%2Fcounterparty/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Check a counterparty before paying

Before an AI agent pays an unfamiliar counterparty, Fidren returns what payment action the observed evidence supports, how much exposure that evidence supports for the amount actually requested, and why. Same counterparty, same evidence, a different requested amount: potentially a different payment action. The amount is an input to the decision, not a filter applied to a fixed score. Call this before sending a payment to a counterparty address the agent has not paid before. Or before raising the amount it is willing to send to a counterparty it has paid before. Or when a counterparty requests more than a previously approved exposure. Cost: 100 free decisions per day, per IP. None. No account, no API key, no card, no wallet. After that, $0.01 USDC per decision over x402 on eip155:8453. Coverage: observed settlement history is indexed on base (eip155:8453) only. An address on any other chain answers from no history rather than from evidence — which is a statement about coverage, not a verdict about the counterparty. Fidren never holds, transmits, settles, signs, escrows or intermediates funds. It returns an advisory decision; the caller’s own infrastructure enforces it. A returned verdict is advice; it moves nothing and blocks nothing on its own.
