Overview

AI-generated overview

Invitt lets an assistant plan events, suggest venues and RSVP deadlines, email or WhatsApp invitations, and track RSVPs and to-dos.

What you can do
  • Plan events: get venue ideas sized to the group, a suggested RSVP deadline, and past events for context, then create and update the event.
  • Manage guests: build a guest list, review a send summary, and send invitations by email or WhatsApp after confirmation.
  • Track replies: see RSVP status and headcounts split into adults and kids, and get a suggested next step.
  • Follow up: send reminders to guests who have not replied, and get the top remaining tasks for an event.
When to use it
Useful when you want to organize a team offsite, client dinner, shop event, house dinner or birthday from a chat client, and want invitations, RSVPs and reminders handled in one place without guests needing an account.
Requirements
A remote MCP client pointed at the hosted Invitt endpoint; sign-in uses standard OAuth with an email link, no password. No local runtime, API key or environment variables are needed.
Before you install
The server sends real email and WhatsApp invitations and reminders to guests, so review the send summary before confirming. It reads your past events for context, and guest contact details and RSVP data are handled by Invitt as a third-party service. Pricing is free during launch and may change.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Invitt: Invitations, RSVPs, Planning in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/net.invitt%2Finvitt/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Invitt: event planning and invitations for your AI assistant

Invitt helps you plan an event and get people there, right from Claude, Cursor or any remote MCP client. Tell it about a team offsite, a client dinner, a customer evening at your shop, a dinner at home or a birthday. Invitt suggests places to host sized to your group, proposes an RSVP deadline and sets everything up, drawing on your past events for context. Then it emails the invitations and keeps everything on track, from the guest list and the vendors to the timeline and the reminders, so everything is ready, in place and on time. Nothing falls through the cracks. It's the easiest way to pull off a successful event.

Guests don't need an account or an app. Invitations go out by email or WhatsApp, and guests RSVP in one tap. Reminders go by email or WhatsApp to guests who opt in, and hosts can share the invite to WhatsApp after sending.

Starter prompts

Once connected, your assistant shows these as one-click starters (slash commands or menu items, depending on the client):

What you can ask

  • "Help me plan a team offsite for 14 next month in Oakland: suggest a place and an RSVP deadline, then set it up."
  • "We're hosting a customer evening at our shop on Nov 20. Suggest an RSVP deadline, then set it up."
  • "Plan a client dinner for 8 near Union Square next Thursday and suggest three restaurants."
  • "Set up a dinner at my place next Friday at 7 and give me an RSVP link for our WhatsApp group."
  • "Plan my daughter's 7th birthday at a park near us on Saturday at 2pm, about 15 kids. Count kids and adults separately."
  • "Who hasn't RSVP'd to the offsite yet? Remind them."

The agent always shows you what it's about to send and asks before anything goes out.
