Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that lets an assistant browse and search the Medius documentation site for its binary control protocol, firmware behavior and Rust library.

What you can do
  • List every documentation page with its path, title and section.
  • Read the full Markdown of a single page by path.
  • Search docs, Guide pages, dashboard, firmware releases and device reports, with ranked results and matching sentences.
  • Search docs for matching pages and sections, then fetch a page by a result id.
When to use it
Useful when working with Medius input-passthrough firmware, its binary control protocol, opcodes, or the medius Rust crate and its C/Python bindings, and you want the assistant to look up the official docs instead of guessing.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at the Medius docs site; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared.
Before you install
Read-only documentation access; no credentials are requested and no data is written. Content comes from a third-party site, so treat retrieved text as reference material rather than instructions.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Medius Docs in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/net.k4tech%2Fdocs/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Deployment

CI builds the app and a multi-arch container on every push to main and publishes it to ghcr.io/k4hvh/medius-docs. Run it:

bash
docker run --rm -p 3000:3000 ghcr.io/k4hvh/medius-docs:latest

docker-compose.yml runs the same image. The container builds with Bun and serves dist/ on port 3000.
