Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server for Nigerian reference data: phone, bank-account and ID-number format checks plus EVM chain lookups, paid per call in USDC.

What you can do
  • List Nigerian states with their capitals, and list supported EVM chains with chain ids (both free)
  • Normalise Nigerian phone numbers to E.164 and report line type and network
  • Validate 10-digit NUBAN account numbers against CBN bank codes, and format-check NIN, BVN, TIN and CAC numbers
  • Read chain data: latest block number, block header by number, gas price and transfer cost
  • Look up an EVM address's native balance with USD value, and a transaction receipt by hash
  • Fetch ERC-20 token metadata and one holder's balance
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs quick, structured checks on Nigerian phone numbers, bank account numbers or identity-number formats, or lightweight read-only EVM chain data, without maintaining its own reference tables or node access.
Requirements
Runs as a remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package, environment variables or headers are declared. Most tools are pay-per-call in USDC over x402, so a funded wallet capable of x402 payments is needed; the state and chain-network listing tools are free.
Before you install
Most tools cost money per call in USDC over x402, so repeated or automated use spends funds. Bank and identity tools are format checks only: they do not confirm an account exists and involve no database lookup or personal data. Requests go to a third-party API.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Nigerian Reference Data in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/net.postandshare%2Fnigerian-reference-data/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
