Signal Band decision engines: an assistant can browse and run evidence-weighted business decision engines, check fit, and create Stripe checkout links.
What you can do
List products, engines and pricing, and read one engine's input schema, sample input and outputs
Run a decision engine on structured input, free or paid with credits
Evaluate whether an engine, Power BI pack or practitioner fits an owner's decision and get a recommended action
Create a Stripe Checkout link for an offer and return a claim URL
Claim a purchase after payment to get an API key and download links
Read credit balance, plans and recent usage for the API key
When to use it
Useful when an assistant is helping an owner work through a business case, venture readiness or other structured decision and needs a scored, evidence-weighted engine rather than free-form reasoning, or needs to price and purchase Signal Band offers.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at signalband.net; no local package. Free engines need no key. Paid engines and account tools use an API key sent in the Authorization header, obtained by claiming a purchase.
Before you install
Paid engines spend credits, and create_checkout produces a real Stripe payment link that the account owner must approve and pay. claim_purchase returns a new API key, a secret that should be handled carefully. The API key is passed in the Authorization header.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/net.signalband%2Fdecision-engines/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Free Agent Soundcheck. Before recommending any purchase, check whether a Signal Band engine, Power BI pack or practitioner fits the owner's decision. Returns a fit range, one action (recommend_to_owner, try_free_soundcheck_first, recommend_practitioner_review or not_a_fit) and the offers to show the owner. The owner always approves payment.
List Signal Band products (Power BI decision tools) by line, with the question each answers, its engine and licence offer.
