A remote MCP server that lets an assistant browse, inspect, search and chat with a catalog of 150+ vertical AI expert bots, and export them as agent skills.
What you can do
List and filter the bot catalog by category, with slugs, taglines and price tiers, and keyword-search bots by name, topic or capability pitch to find the right expert for a task. Retrieve a single bot's full card: pitch, price tiers, six-axis capability radar, knowledge topics, pairings and team synergy bonuses. Send messages to a live expert bot and continue the conversation by reusing the returned session ID. Generate an agent-ready SKILL.md file so a bot can be used as a native skill in a compatible agent.
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to pick a specialized expert bot for a task such as education, health, finance, legal, technology, 3D modeling or game development, compare bots before choosing, or convert a bot into a reusable skill file.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package or local runtime is declared. No authentication is declared and no environment variables or headers are required. Chat works without an account through a free preview limited to a few messages per bot per session; purchased bots or an URBOT_API_KEY lift those limits.
Before you install
Bots are paid products, with most starting at $1, so purchasing may involve spending money. Chat messages are sent to the third-party URBot service, and the free preview is rate-limited per session. An URBOT_API_KEY may be needed for full access; treat it as a secret.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/net.urbot%2Fbots/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
List the URBot catalog of 150+ trained vertical AI expert bots with slug, name, tagline, category, and price tiers (most bots start at $1). Optionally filter by category (e.g. education, health, finance, legal, technology, outdoor, 3d-modeling, game-dev, 3d-printing, media). Use the returned slug with get_bot, chat_with_bot, or get_skill. URBot bots keep your data yours - each one is downloadable and runs locally.

get_bot
Get URBot bot card
Get the full card for one URBot bot by slug: name, tagline, pitch, price tiers, 6-axis capability radar (knowledge/practical/empathy/technical/creativity/safety, 0-100), knowledge topics, which bots it pairs with, and team synergy bonuses. Find slugs via list_bots or search_bots.

chat_with_bot
Chat with a live URBot bot
Send a message to a live URBot expert bot and get its reply (with emotion metadata). Works without an account via the free preview (a few messages per bot per session); purchased bots or an URBOT_API_KEY lift the limits. Pass the returned session_id back in to continue the same conversation. Example slugs: chef, medic, professor, legal, hunter, blender.

get_skill
Export SKILL.md for a bot
Generate an agent-ready SKILL.md (agentskills.io-style YAML frontmatter + system prompt + capability profile) for one URBot bot. Drop the file into any SKILL.md-compatible agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Hermes, ...) to use the bot as a native skill. Uses the live URBot Factory persona endpoint when credentials are available, otherwise builds from the bundled catalog snapshot (marked in frontmatter).
Parametersslugrequired
search_bots
Search URBot bots
Keyword-search the URBot catalog across bot names, taglines, categories, knowledge topics, and capability pitches. Returns the top matches with slug, name, category, price, and why they matched. Use this first when you know the task but not which expert bot to use (e.g. "sourdough", "tax deductions", "unreal engine blueprints", "knee pain").

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
