Overview

AI-generated overview

Read-only access to public insider-trading, congressional trade, 13F holdings and lobbying filings from US and European regulators.

What you can do
  • Search insider transactions from SEC Form 4 and five European registers, filtered and sorted
  • Summarize one company's or one insider's filings over a period, including open-market buys and sales
  • Rank US companies by the largest open-market insider purchases or sales
  • Search stock and asset trades reported by Congress members or the US President
  • Look up quarterly 13F holdings of followed fund managers by fund or by issuer
  • Retrieve quarterly federal lobbying spending for a listed US company, or a ranking
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to look up or compare public filing facts about insider buying and selling, political trades, fund manager positions or corporate lobbying, with sources cited, rather than opinions or signals.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, account, API key or header is declared. Network access to the provider's endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Read-only, but the data is third-party and partly derived: presidential filings are read from scanned documents by Open Cabinet, and Congress and presidential amounts are reported as bands that should not be summed. Answers carry a coverage limit that should be stated, and European rows require regulator attribution (the AFM for Dutch rows). Nothing returned is a recommendation.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open InsiderRadar in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/nl.insiderradar%2Finsiderradar/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

search_insider_transactions

Search insider transactions (SEC Form 4 and the European registers)

Find insider transactions reported to the SEC on Form 4, from 2020 to today (country=US, the default), or in the registers of the Netherlands (AFM), Germany (BaFin), Belgium (FSMA), Sweden (FI) and Spain (CNMV) with country=NL, DE, BE, SE or ES, the five European registers together with country=EU, or all of them with country=all. European rows are one line of the regulator's register each, in the currency of the filing with a euro value next to it, and every row names its source (source, source_url); cite it when you use a row. For Form 4: Filter by ticker, company, insider name, role, buy or sell, a date range, a minimum value and Rule 10b5-1 plans; sort newest first or by largest value. By default the lines of one filing with the same transaction code are combined into one row (total shares, weighted average price, total value, number of lines). For 'the largest recent insider purchases' use type=buy and sort=largest_value. Each row has the insider and their role, the dates, shares, price, value in USD, whether it was a planned trade, source_url (the filing at the SEC) and company_url (our company page, when there is one). Open-market purchases and sales since mid-June 2026 also carry the latest price and the change from the price in the filing to that latest price: a measurement of the share price, not advice.

summarize_issuer_insiders

Summarize insider activity for one company or one insider (SEC Form 4)

Summarize the Form 4 filings of one company (ticker or name) or one insider over a period, from 2020 to today: how many filings, lines and insiders; open-market purchases and sales (count, shares, USD value, and how much of it was under a Rule 10b5-1 plan); every transaction type; the most active insiders; and the largest filings with their source_url. Default period: the last 365 days.

top_insider_activity

Companies with the most insider buying or selling (SEC Form 4)

Across the whole US market: the companies whose insiders bought (or sold) the most in the open market over a period, ranked by USD value. Each company has the total value, shares, number of filings and insiders, the share of the value that was under a Rule 10b5-1 plan, and its largest filing with source_url. Planned trades are left out by default (planned=exclude) and the answer says so. Common and other non-derivative shares only (Form 4 Table I). Default: the last 7 days; at most 90 days, and at most 31 for periods before 2026-06-15.

search_politician_trades

Search trades by members of Congress and the US executive (STOCK Act, OGE)

Find stock and other asset trades reported by members of the US Congress (House and Senate Periodic Transaction Reports under the STOCK Act; branch=congress, the default) or by the US President (OGE Form 278-T, as read from the scanned filings by Open Cabinet, a third party; branch=executive). Filter by a person's name, chamber, ticker, purchase or sale, and a period. Amounts are bands as filed (amount_band, with its bounds in USD), never exact amounts. Congress rows carry the days from trade to filing and whether the filing came after the legal deadline, with the fact. The filings give no price; where the share has a price series the row carries the change in the share price since the filing (and for the executive since the trade). Every row carries source_url, the filing; executive rows also credit Open Cabinet. Default period: the last 365 days.

get_fund_holdings

Holdings of followed fund managers (SEC Form 13F)

The quarterly 13F holdings of the fund managers InsiderRadar follows (e.g. Berkshire Hathaway, Baupost): give fund for one manager's positions in a quarter, or issuer for which followed managers held a company. Each position has the shares and value in USD this quarter and the previous one, whether it is new, increased, decreased, sold out or unchanged, and its share of everything the fund reported. Default quarter: each fund's latest report. Holdings at quarter end, filed up to 45 days later; no prices paid, no short positions, no cash.

get_company_lobbying

Lobbying by listed US companies (Lobbying Disclosure Act)

What a listed US company spent on federal lobbying, per quarter, from the Lobbying Disclosure Act reports (lda.gov): its own in-house expenses and the income outside lobbying firms reported from it, kept apart, plus its most recent reports with links. Give ticker or company. Without either, a ranking of the listed companies with the largest own lobbying expenses over the last four quarters.
