Remote MCP server for open space-industry jobs, letting an assistant search roles, compare posted pay by job type, and read hiring counts.
What you can do
Search open space-industry roles across launch, satellite and spacecraft employers and their suppliers, with title, employer, work type, posted pay, eligible countries and an apply link
Look up posted pay by kind of work, with median, 25th-75th percentile range, and the number of postings and employers behind each figure
Get market counts of open roles, new listings in the past 7 days, and breakdowns by kind of work and employer, optionally filtered by country
Describe the hiring radar investor dataset of roles tracked from employer job boards, with daily figures and a change log
When to use it
Useful when someone is job hunting in the space industry, wants to compare advertised pay across kinds of space work, or needs a quick read on hiring volume by employer or country. Also aimed at investors who want structured space-industry hiring data.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at spacejobs.now; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared.
Before you install
Job data comes from third-party employer job boards and is refreshed hourly, so listings and pay figures may lag or be incomplete; pay statistics appear only where enough posted figures exist. Applications happen on the employer's own site via the shared links.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/now.spacejobs%2Fspacejobs-now/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Look up open roles across the space industry (launch providers, satellite and spacecraft makers, and the suppliers behind them), gathered from the job boards of 47 employers. Each result gives the title, employer, kind of work, posted pay, the countries it accepts applicants from and an apply link on SpaceJobs.Now. Any filter can be left out.
Current pay in the space industry for each kind of work, as a year's pay (an hourly posting counts at 2,080 hours), taken from the pay posted on open roles: the median, the middle half (25th to 75th percentile), and the number of posted figures and employers behind each. A figure appears only where three or more employers post pay.

get_space_jobs_market
Space industry job market
Counts of space industry openings: the total open now, the number first listed over the past 7 days, and breakdowns by kind of work and by employer (each employer comes with the slug search_space_jobs accepts). Pass a country to count only roles that accept applicants from it.

get_hiring_radar
Space industry job market data for investors
Hiring radar is the investor dataset from SpaceJobs.Now. It holds every space industry role seen on an employer's own job board from the first time that board was read: a row per role (posted pay, field, eligible countries, opening and closing dates), daily figures per employer, and a change log. The tool reports current coverage, the available files, who uses it, the price and how to request a sample.
Takes no parameters.
