Publish AI-made web pages and share files as short links from any MCP client.
Overview
Publishes AI-made web pages and shares files as short public links from any MCP client.
- What it does
- Turns files and AI-generated web pages into short public links. Tools include publish_site for HTML, CSS, JavaScript and image pages, upload_file for text or base64 files, create_upload_session for large files, get_link for status, expiry and views, delete_link, list_links, set_password, make_permanent, extend and get_account. Uploads pass a safety check before the link goes live, and pages are served sandboxed on their own link.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant builds a landing page, RSVP page, chart or report and you want it live on a shareable link, or when you need to send a PDF, image or zip as a short link. Also handy for checking which links expire soon or removing links you no longer want.
- Requirements
- Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install. Auth is optional: anonymous use gives 7-day links plus a private manage token, while OAuth 2.1 (PKCE) or an API key keeps links in an account. The account-only URL always requires sign-in. A local stdio option exists via npx and needs Node 20+.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Put It Online in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

Put It Online MCP server
Put It Online turns files and AI-made web pages into short public links. This repository holds the public metadata and connection instructions for its hosted remote MCP server:
Ask your assistant to build a landing page, an RSVP page, a chart or a report, and it publishes it as a live web page. Share a PDF, an image, a zip or any other file the same way. Every upload passes a safety check before the link goes live, and published pages are served sandboxed on their own link.
- Transport: Streamable HTTP (remote, nothing to install)
- Auth: optional. Works anonymously (7-day links plus a private manage token). Sign in with OAuth 2.1 (PKCE, client ID metadata documents or dynamic client registration) or an API key to keep links in your account.
- Account-only URL:
https://putit.online/mcp/accountalways asks you to sign in. Use it for clients that decide on OAuth at connect time (Windsurf, Zed, Le Chat, Docker). - Official MCP Registry name:
online.putit/put-it-online - Docs: https://putit.online/connect · Privacy: https://putit.online/privacy · Terms: https://putit.online/terms · Support: https://putit.online/support
The server itself is a hosted service and is not open source. This repository contains only metadata (
server.json,gemini-extension.json,glama.json), instructions and logos, under the MIT licence.
