Overview

AI-generated overview

askTender lets an assistant search government tenders in about 200 countries, check bid eligibility and requirements, and manage a company's saved tenders and…

What you can do
  • Search and read tenders: find open government tenders by what is bought and country, and get one tender's buyer, deadline, value and brief
  • Check eligibility: whether a company from one country may bid in another, and whether the user's own company qualifies and what is missing
  • Get requirements and bid kits: a tender's requirements in its own words and a submission checklist against the user's company
  • Track tenders: save tenders, list saved tenders, see matching tenders, and follow buyers or competitors on a watchlist
  • Market intelligence: past winners and price guides for a buyer, upcoming contract renewals, and bids in preparation with askTender
  • Account and plans: compare askTender plans…
When to use it
Useful when someone is looking for public procurement opportunities, wants to know if their company can bid on a tender abroad, or needs the requirements and documents for a submission. Also suits teams tracking buyers, competitors and expiring contracts.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at asktender.org with no declared authentication, environment variables or headers. Account-linked tools such as eligibility checks, saved tenders, watchlists and bids need an askTender account connected; several tools are limited to Pro, Intelligence or Business plans.
Before you install
Tools act on the user's askTender account: saving tenders, adding buyers or competitors to a watchlist, and starting a managed bid change stored data. Plan-gated tools and the managed bid desk may involve paid subscriptions. Tender facts come from third-party procurement portals and should be verified before relying on them.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/org.asktender%2Fasktender/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
