A remote MCP server that helps an assistant draft U.S. wills, codicils and charitable bequest wording, and look up state will-signing rules.
What you can do
Draft a complete U.S. last will and testament, optionally including charitable gifts, with state-specific signing instructions and warnings to review with the person first, using only facts they provide and never inventing names or amounts. Add a charitable gift to an existing will as a short codicil, with wording to hand to an attorney. Prepare beneficiary designations naming charities on retirement, life insurance, payable-on-death and transfer-on-death accounts, with percentages for each form. Return sample bequest wording for a will or trust, and look up how to sign a valid will in a given state, including witnesses, notarization, holographic and electronic wills, remote online notariz
When to use it
Useful when someone in the U.S. wants to write or update a will, add a charitable gift to an existing will, name charities on accounts, or check their state's signing requirements. Also handy for quick questions about bequest wording or estate and inheritance tax.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at mylastwill.org over streamable HTTP; no package, environment variables or headers are declared. No authentication is declared. The tools cover U.S. states only.
Before you install
Documents are not legal advice and the service is not a law firm; large or complex estates should be reviewed by an attorney. Wills and codicils are not produced for Louisiana or North Carolina residents, only gift wording. The server states that nothing sent to the tools is stored, but the input includes personal and family details, so confirm that before sharing. The assistant should use only facts the person gives and never invent names or amounts.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/org.mylastwill%2Fmylastwill/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Draft a complete U.S. last will and testament, optionally with charitable gifts to causes the person chooses. Use when someone wants to make, write or update a will. Interview the person first and pass only facts they gave you; never invent names. Returns the will text, a state-specific signing checklist, a plain-English summary of who inherits, and warnings to resolve before signing. Not legal advice; wills are not produced for Louisiana or North Carolina residents (gift wording is returned instead).

add_charity_to_existing_will
Add a charitable gift to an existing will
Draft a codicil (a short signed amendment) that adds a charitable gift to a will the person already has, plus gift wording to give their attorney. Use when someone already has a will and wants to leave a percentage or dollar amount to causes or charities. Not legal advice; for Louisiana and North Carolina residents only the gift wording is returned.
Name charities on an IRA, 401(k), insurance or bank account
Prepare instructions for naming charities as beneficiaries of retirement accounts, life insurance, bank (payable-on-death) or brokerage (transfer-on-death) accounts, with the percentages to write on each form. No will needed. Traditional IRAs and 401(k)s are often the most tax-efficient assets to leave to charity. Charities must be named specifically.
Return sample bequest wording for a will or trust that gives a percentage or dollar amount to causes or named charities, for the person or their attorney to adapt. Use for quick questions like "how do I word a gift to charity in my will?"
Look up how to sign a valid will in a U.S. state: witnesses, notarization and self-proving affidavits, handwritten (holographic) wills, electronic wills and remote online notarization, plus the state's estate or inheritance tax, with statute links.
