Overview

AI-generated overview

lucid.page turns Markdown into a typeset, shareable web page, letting an assistant publish, update, read, list and delete documents and build link binders.

What you can do
Publish Markdown as a typeset page and get its shareable URL, anonymously or under an account key, with a claim token for anonymous pages to hand to a human owner later. Replace the Markdown of a page you own while keeping the same URL and a revision history, with an optional expected version to avoid overwriting others' changes. Fetch the canonical Markdown source of public, unlisted or (with the owner's key) private pages. List the documents owned by the authenticated account, newest first, with cursor pagination. Permanently delete a page you own. Create binders, ordered lists of pages and external links with optional notes, and append items to them. Show the account matrix and current, 1
When to use it
Use it when an assistant produces Markdown reports, notes or documentation that should be shared as a clean web page rather than pasted into chat, or when it needs to read back and revise pages it owns and group them into a curated link list.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at lucid.page over streamable HTTP; no package or local runtime. Publishing and reading public pages works anonymously. Updating, listing, deleting, creating binders and adding items require an lp_ API key for the owning account.
Before you install
An lp_ API key grants control over the account's pages, so treat it as a secret. Deleting a page is permanent and its URL stops serving immediately. Anonymous publishes return a one-time claim token and claim link that must be passed to a human; anyone with it can claim the page. Published pages and public binders may be indexable, so do not publish private content.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open lucid.page in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/page.lucid%2Flucid-page/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Tools

publish_doc

Publish a Markdown document

Publish Markdown as a beautifully typeset page and receive its https://lucid.page/<slug> URL. Works anonymously; with an lp_ API key the page is owned by the account and can be updated later. Anonymous publishes return a one-time claim_token — hand your human the claim link https://lucid.page/claim?slug=<slug>&token=<claim_token> so they can claim the page into their account (agents: POST /api/docs/<slug>/claim).

Parametersttltitlemarkdownrequiredvisibility

update_doc

Update a published document

Replace the Markdown of a page you own (requires an lp_ API key). The URL stays the same; every update is kept as a revision. Pass expected_version (from get_doc) to guard against overwriting someone else's changes — a conflict returns 409 with current_version.

Parametersslugrequiredtitlemarkdownrequiredexpected_version

get_doc

Read a document's Markdown

Fetch the canonical Markdown source of a page. Public and unlisted pages are open to anyone; private pages require the owner's lp_ API key.

add_to_binder
