Deploy HTML or multi-file static sites to live public URLs, and manage, password-protect, restore or delete those drops from an assistant.
What you can do
Deploy a single HTML document or a multi-file site and get back a live public URL with a one-time claim token for later ownership transfer to an account. Add or overwrite files in a drop you own, and list your drops with slug, URL, file counts, expiry and password status. Claim anonymous drops, restore expired drops while files are retained, and permanently delete drops. Set, rotate or remove a shared password on a drop. Check the plan matrix and, with an API key, your account plan, subscription status and usage.
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to publish a quick static page, prototype or small site and hand back a shareable link, or to keep a set of hosted drops organized, protected and cleaned up over time.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local install. Anonymous use works without credentials but is rate-limited and expires after 30 days. Account tools (append, list, claim, restore, delete, password changes, account status) need an sp_ API key; some also need an active paid subscription.
Before you install
Deploying publishes content to a public, unguessable URL that anyone with the link can read unless password protection is set. delete_drop is permanent and the URL stops serving immediately; append_files overwrites existing paths. Password protection requires a paid plan, and removing it makes the drop readable by anyone with the URL. Paid tiers cost money (Pro $4/mo, Team $19/mo). Keep the sp_ API key and one-time claim tokens private.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/page.ship%2Fship-page/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Deploy one HTML document and get back a live, unguessable https://<slug>.ship.place/ URL. Anonymous: 10 deploys/min per IP, 10MB body cap, 30-day expiry. Pro ($4/mo): custom or no TTL, named drops.
Parametersttlhtmlrequirednameagentemailpassword
deploy_files
Deploy a multi-file site
Deploy a map of path -> content as a multi-file site (must include index.html to serve at the root). Anonymous: up to 100 files per request, 30-day expiry (90 days once signed in). Pro ($4/mo): up to 10,000 files, custom or no TTL, named drops.
Parametersttlnameagentemailfilesrequiredpassword
append_files
Append files to an existing drop
Add files to a drop owned by the authenticated account (requires an sp_ API key and an active subscription): up to 10,000 files per drop in total, and existing paths are overwritten. The drop keeps its current expiry and password protection.
Parametersslugrequiredfilesrequired
list_drops
List your drops
List drops owned by the authenticated account (requires an sp_ API key; anonymous drops are not listable). Returns slug, url, name, file counts, expiry and password_protected, newest first.
Parameterslimitoffset
claim_drop
Claim an anonymous drop
Attach an anonymously deployed drop to the authenticated account using its one-time claim token (spc_..., returned once by deploy_html/deploy_files). Claiming extends the drop to the free-account lifetime (90 days) and can revive an offline drop during its 30-day private recovery window. Claimed drops become listable, deletable, and — on paid plans — redeployable via named drops. Requires an sp_ API key.
Parametersslugrequiredclaim_tokenrequired
restore_drop
Restore an expired drop
Bring back an expired drop owned by the authenticated account while its files are still retained (requires an sp_ API key), up to 90 days past expiry. Free accounts get the drop back at the 90-day lifetime; on a paid plan the restored drop never expires again.
Parametersslugrequired
delete_drop
Delete a drop
Permanently delete a drop owned by the authenticated account (requires an sp_ API key). The URL stops serving immediately and cannot be recovered.
Parametersslugrequired
set_drop_password
Set a drop password
Set or rotate the shared password on a drop you own. Requires an sp_ API key and active paid Pro/Team; unavailable billing returns an error, not a public drop. Visitors unlock in their browser. Never put the password in a URL.
Parametersslugrequiredpasswordrequired
remove_drop_password
Remove a drop password
Remove password protection from a drop you own, making it readable by anyone with its URL. Requires an sp_ API key; works even after your paid subscription lapses.
Parametersslugrequired
get_limits
Get plan limits
Show the ship.page plan matrix (anonymous free tier vs Pro $4/mo vs Team $19/mo) and, when an sp_ API key is present, the caller's current account/plan status.
Takes no parameters.
get_account
Get account info
Show the authenticated account's plan, subscription status and usage (requires an sp_ API key). Anonymous callers should use get_limits for the static free-tier limits.
Takes no parameters.
