Your CV as a document you own, edited by your AI assistant, in several languages, as a typeset PDF
Overview
Vitae is a hosted MCP server that lets an assistant edit your CV in JSON Resume format, keep language versions in sync, and produce a typeset PDF.
- What you can do
- List, import and export CVs, including export in the open JSON Resume format
- Edit CV content such as entries, sections and wording
- Compare language versions for parity and review edit history, diffs and reverts
- Control publishing and sharing, including visibility settings and rotating the public link
- Choose which photo appears on the CV and who can see it
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to help maintain a CV you own, especially a multi-language one that must stay consistent, and to publish a PDF you control. Not for writing the CV for you, job applications, or listing CVs in any directory.
- Requirements
- A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint with OAuth 2.1 (PKCE) sign-in through a Publifye account, done once from the browser. No API keys or environment variables are declared. A free tier allows 60 assistant calls a day; a paid annual plan is offered.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Vitae in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/pro.publifye%2Fvitae/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Vitae — CV MCP server for Claude, Cursor and any MCP client
Vitae keeps your CV as a document you own. Your AI assistant edits it with you, keeps the different language versions in step, and turns it into a typeset PDF. Nobody sees it until you publish it.
Connect
Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http vitae https://vitae.publifye.com/mcp, then /mcp to
sign in. The first time, you sign in from your browser with a Publifye account. The full discovery
chain is in ../../docs/connect.md.
How it works
Your CV is stored in the open JSON Resume format, so you can take it with
you at any time with cv_export. You can keep it in more than one language, and parity_check
shows where two versions no longer match, for example a job that is in the English version but
missing from the Norwegian one.
Every change is kept. cv_history lists the last 365 edits of each language version, cv_diff
shows what changed, and cv_revert takes you back.
A new CV always starts unpublished. Publishing is a separate step you take with visibility_set.
A published CV can be read by anyone who has its address, but it is never added to search engines,
and link_rotate gives it a new address if you want to take the old one back. The PDF comes in
two versions: a complete one for you, and a public one with private details removed.
What the tools do
Every tool is documented with its exact description, annotations and input schema, 42 in all, generated from the service's own registry.
Machine-readable: tools.json has all 42 with full JSON Schema. Staff-only tools and the logging tools are listed by name there too, but they are not part of what a customer can use.
What it does not do
- It does not write your CV for you. Your assistant helps, but what the CV says is your decision.
- It does not list CVs anywhere. There is no directory and no search.
- It does not apply for jobs or send your CV to anyone.
Plans
Free with a Publifye account: 60 assistant calls a day, no card needed. Vitae Access costs $24 a year. Prices can change, and the current ones are always on https://vitae.publifye.com. If this page and the site disagree, the site is right.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
