Runs PageSpeed Insights on a web page and on a WebSpeed Fast-accelerated copy, then returns a verified side-by-side comparison.
What you can do
Start a PageSpeed Insights measurement of a page, comparing the original site with its WebSpeed Fast-accelerated copy on mobile and desktop
Retrieve the status or result of a measurement by audit_id, including queue position while it runs
Read the finished comparison plus notes on what else still slows the page down
When to use it
Useful when someone wants evidence of how much a page's performance improves under WebSpeed Fast, or a PageSpeed Insights comparison of an original versus accelerated copy, without running the audits by hand.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint; no package, environment variable or header is declared. The page to measure must be publicly reachable by PageSpeed Insights. A new measurement takes 2–5 minutes, while previously measured pages return at once.
Before you install
Measurements are started against third-party pages and sent to PageSpeed Insights and WebSpeed's service. Results are only available after a 2–5 minute run, so the assistant must poll on request rather than in a loop. Figures under "still to fix" are Lighthouse estimates, not measurements, and should be reported with that wording.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/pro.webspeed%2Fwebspeed/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Start a real PageSpeed Insights measurement of a web page: the original site vs. its copy accelerated by WebSpeed Fast (mobile and desktop). Returns an audit_id immediately; the run takes 2–5 minutes, and get_measurement reads it when the user asks. If the page was measured before, its full result is returned at once. Results are published as a report page on webspeed.pro. Use when the user asks why a site is slow, how fast it is, or what can be sped up.

Get WebSpeed measurement result
Status or result of a measurement started with measure_site. While running, returns the queue position or progress. When done, returns the verified comparison and what else slows the page down. Quote numbers only from this result and keep its wording about estimates; if it says there is nothing to judge, do not invent numbers.
