Overview

AI-generated overview

SkillFoxx lets an assistant search a catalog of skills, MCP servers and CLI tools, read install recipes and plan installs for a chosen agent.

What you can do
  • Search and browse the catalog: find published, reviewed cards for skills, MCP servers and CLI tools, and list categories with card counts.
  • Read a card: get install instructions, a machine-readable install recipe with status, access level and limitations.
  • Plan an install: get exact commands, config file path and snippet, one-click links for Cursor and VS Code, and placeholders for variables to fill in.
  • Recommend for a project: suggest tools from a safe summary of the goal, frameworks, dependencies and notable file names.
  • Report an install: increment the anonymous install counter after a successful, user-approved installation.
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to find and set up agent skills, MCP servers or CLI tools for a specific agent such as Claude Code or Cursor, or to get project-specific tool suggestions without sharing source code.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at skillfoxx.ru; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. The plan_install tool takes an agent identifier such as claude-code or cursor, and report_install needs a reportToken returned by plan_install.
Before you install
plan_install returns placeholders only, never secret values, so credentials must be supplied by the user. report_install sends an install report to SkillFoxx and should only be called after the user agrees and the install succeeds. recommend_for_project sends a project summary (goal, framework and dependency names, notable file names) to a third party; source code and secrets should not be included. Access levels are described as what a tool adds to the agent, not as a code quality rating.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open SkillFoxx in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ru.skillfoxx%2Fcatalog/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Parameterslanglimitqueryrequired

get_entry

Read one catalog card with install instructions, a machine-readable install recipe with its status, access level (fields riskLevel and riskReasons: what the tool adds to the agent, low minimal, medium extended, high broad; not a code quality rating) and limitations. Section is skills, mcp, cli, plugins, workflows or prompts. For step-by-step install in a specific agent call plan_install.

Parameterslangslugrequiredsectionrequired

plan_install

Get exact install steps for one catalog tool in one agent: commands, config file path and snippet, one-click links for Cursor and VS Code, variables to fill in, recipe status and access level. Secrets are never included, only placeholders with the variable name. Agent is one of: claude-code, cursor, vscode, codex, gemini-cli, devin, cline, zoo-code, opencode, zed, sourcecraft, coddy, antigravity, kiro, claude-desktop, lm-studio (site aliases like vs-code, windsurf, roo-code, github-copilot, gemini also work). Section is skills, mcp, cli, plugins, workflows or prompts. After a successful install call report_install with the returned reportToken.

Parameterslangslugrequiredagentrequiredsectionrequired

report_install

Tell SkillFoxx that you installed a catalog tool for the user, so the anonymous install counter stays honest. Call it only after the user agreed and the installation finished without errors, with the reportToken from plan_install. Do not call it when you installed through npx skillfoxx (the CLI reports by itself) or when the user asked not to send statistics. No personal data is stored.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
