LiveSpot is a remote, read-only MCP server that lets an assistant search and browse upcoming concerts, theatre, sport and festivals across Sweden.
What you can do
Search events by free text, city, category, date range and maximum price, with paginated results and links to livespot.se pages. Fetch full details for a single event, including description, venue, city, date and price. List all LiveSpot cities with region and upcoming-event counts, and list the canonical category catalog in Swedish and English. Browse upcoming events in a city, optionally narrowed by category, and find events related to a given event. Run Deep Research style search and fetch calls that return event records with id, title, text and url.
When to use it
Useful when someone asks what is on in a Swedish city, or wants concerts, sport, theatre, shows or festivals filtered by date, category or budget. Also fits research-style workflows that need structured event records with links back to the source.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at livespot.se; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared. Network access to the endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Read-only and authless, so nothing is written or changed. Event content comes from third-party ticket providers, so details such as dates and prices should be checked on the linked livespot.se page before relying on them.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/se.livespot%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Search LiveSpot for upcoming events across Sweden. Use this when the user asks what's on, what events are happening, what to do, or anything about concerts, sport, theatre, or shows in a Swedish city. Supports free-text, city, category, date range, and max price. Returns a paginated markdown list of events where each title links to livespot.se. Preserve the markdown links when summarizing so users can click through. City slugs are ASCII (goteborg, malmo); Swedish characters are normalized automatically (å/ä→a, ö→o).
Fetch the full detail for a single event. Accepts a full event id, a full slug, or the 8-character short id at the end of a slug (e.g. "f13a31ab"), as returned by search_events, browse_city, and search. Returns a markdown block with a linked title heading plus description, venue, city, date, and price. Preserve the title link when citing the event so users can click through.
