TibiaWiki knowledge base: attribute queries over creatures, items, NPCs, quests and spells

VerifiedStreamable HTTPWeb executableDatabasesKnowledge & MemoryData & Analytics

Overview

AI-generated overview

TibiaWiki knowledge base MCP server that lets an assistant query creatures, items, NPCs, quests, spells, houses and travel routes from a local wiki snapshot.

What you can do
  • Search wiki pages by approximate or in-game name and fetch full detail for any creature, item, NPC, quest or spell
  • Filter creatures and items by stats, resistances, skill bonuses, weight, level and behaviour
  • Find spells, quests and houses by vocation, level, premium status, city, rent and beds
  • Trace where an item comes from (drops, vendors, quest rewards) and which NPC pays most for loot
  • Parse pasted in-game loot messages into item counts and NPC gold values
  • Look up NPC trade offers, NPCs by city or job, and boat or carpet travel legs with fares
When to use it
Useful when answering Tibia gameplay questions that need attribute filtering the wiki itself cannot do, such as which creatures are weak to fire, what drops an item, or where to sell loot. Also handy for building loot filters or hunt planners from the same data.
Requirements
Either the hosted remote endpoint, which needs no account or key, or the npm package run locally with Node 22.13 or later; the first local start downloads the package and an 18 MB index, after which it works offline. No environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
Data is a snapshot of the wiki, not live game state, and every answer carries its generation date. Loot chances and prices are wiki-recorded estimates, and drops without a recorded chance are omitted. The hosted endpoint allows about 300 messages a minute per IP. Wiki data is CC BY-SA and game content is CipSoft's, so credit is required if you redistribute it.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Tibiawiki Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/sh.tibia%2Ftibiawiki-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

tibiawiki-mcp

An MCP server for TibiaWiki. It lets an AI assistant answer the questions the wiki itself cannot:

  • Which creatures are weak to fire and give over 500 experience?
  • What drops a Dragon Shield, and how likely is it?
  • Where do I buy a Steel Helmet, and for how much?

Every answer comes from a SQLite snapshot of the wiki that installs with the server. Queries return in milliseconds and work offline. The server makes no network calls.

Use it

Hosted, nothing to install

Add https://mcp.tibia.sh/wiki to your MCP client as a remote server. It needs no account and no key. In claude.ai, add it as a custom connector.

It allows about 300 messages a minute per IP address and writes no request logs. The landing page at https://mcp.tibia.sh shows the versions it runs. tibia-sh/mcp.tibia.sh has the details.

Claude Code

Install it as a plugin, from your terminal. You get the server and a skill that teaches the agent the traps in the data, like damage modifiers where 100 is neutral:

bash
claude plugin marketplace add tibia-sh/tibiawiki-mcpclaude plugin install tibiawiki-mcp@tibiawiki-mcp

Any other MCP client

Add this to your client's MCP configuration, for example claude_desktop_config.json for Claude Desktop or .cursor/mcp.json for Cursor. It needs Node 22.13 or later:

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "tibiawiki": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@tibia.sh/tibiawiki-mcp"] }  }}

The first start downloads the package and its 18 MB index. After that it works offline.

Tools

You ask questions, and your assistant calls these:

ToolAnswers
tibia_search"Is there a page called roughly X?" or "List every mount." Items also match by the name or plural the game prints, like "vial of lifefluid"
tibia_get"Tell me everything about X." X is a wiki title or its articleId, and can be a creature, item, NPC, quest or spell. An item says its client ID, the name and plural the game prints, whether it stacks, can be picked up or is immobile, and which NPCs buy it, for how much and where. A creature says its name as the game prints it, how it behaves, like when it flees, and its gold per kill. An NPC says what it buys and sells
tibia_find_creatures"Which creatures match these stats?" Also by behaviour, like seeing invisible or being pushable, and ranked by gold per kill
tibia_find_items"Which items match these stats?" Also by resistance, skill bonus, imbuement slots, weight, hands, client ID, weapon element, life or mana leech, and whether it stacks or can be picked up
tibia_find_spells"Which healing spells can a level 30 druid cast?"
tibia_find_quests"Which quests can a level 20 character do, and what do they give?"
tibia_find_houses"What is the cheapest house in Thais with two beds?"
tibia_how_to_obtain"Where do I get X?" Drops, vendors and quest rewards in one call. X can be the wiki title or the name the game prints
tibia_find_updates"What changed for knights in 2026?" Game updates by text and release date
tibia_where_to_sell"Where do I sell all this loot?" The NPC paying the most for each item, grouped by city. It takes the names the game prints too, like "gold coins", and lists a name several items share with those items
tibia_parse_loot"What is this loot worth?" Paste loot messages as the game prints them and get each item's count and NPC value in gold, with client IDs per line on request
tibia_find_travel"Which boat goes to Svargrond, and for how much?" Boat and carpet routes to or from a place, with fares. Each row is one leg with its start, not a planned journey
tibia_find_offers"What does Rashid buy, and for how much?" NPC trade offers by NPC, item, direction and currency, every one of them a page at a time
tibia_find_npcs"Who in Thais buys Dragon Shield?" NPCs by city, job and the items they buy or sell

The server tells your assistant how to read the data, for example that a damage modifier of 100 is neutral. What the skill adds lists the traps.

How fresh the data is

The index is a snapshot. Every answer says when it was taken, as indexGeneratedAt. It ships as its own package, @tibia.sh/tibiawiki-data, rebuilt on Tuesdays and Fridays and released when the wiki changed. A fresh install gets the newest one. The hosted server follows each release by itself.

Take the whole index

The tools answer questions. If you are building a loot filter, a hunt planner or a bot's data layer and want every row, install the index itself:

bash
npm install @tibia.sh/tibiawiki-data

It exports DB_PATH, the absolute path to index.db, and SCHEMA_VERSION. Open the file read-only with any SQLite client. In Node 22.13 or later, node:sqlite does it:

js
import { DatabaseSync } from 'node:sqlite'import { DB_PATH } from '@tibia.sh/tibiawiki-data'
const db = new DatabaseSync(DB_PATH, { readOnly: true })

Its README says what the tables hold and how the versions work. The data stays CC BY-SA, so credit TibiaWiki when you ship it.

Why it exists

TibiaWiki runs on Fandom without Cargo, Semantic MediaWiki or CirrusSearch, so there is no way to query it by attribute. Every structured value is trapped inside Infobox wikitext, and the built-in search returns Dragon Necklace for fire resistant dragon. The public REST API over the same wiki exposes exactly one query parameter. Building a local index is the only way to ask a real question.

Tools

14

tibia_get

Full detail for one Tibia page of any kind, with a creature's loot, abilities and max damage, the NPCs that buy an item and what an NPC buys and sells. Takes exactly one of an exact page name or an article_id. Use tibia_search first for an uncertain or in-game name, or tibia_find_updates for an update. Pass `type` for a shared name. Creature abilities may carry an `area`: Grid of map tiles, row-major, as the caster faces. '.' unaffected tile, '#' effect tile, '@' the caster, '*' the target tile, digits 4-8 a second effect the scene draws on extra sprite layers, '?' an unrecognised value. effectTiles counts effect tiles only. effectOnCaster, from the wiki rather than the grid, says whether the caster is caught in its own effect.

tibia_find_creatures

Find Tibia creatures matching stat filters. Damage modifiers are percentages where 100 is neutral: "weak_to" means the creature takes MORE than 100% damage from that element, "resistant_to" means less. Use this for questions like "which creatures are weak to fire and give over 500 experience". Behaviour filters skip creatures whose value is unrecorded.

tibia_find_items

Find Tibia items matching class, type and stat filters such as attack, defense, armor and required level, resistances, skill bonuses, imbuement slots, weight and hands. Use this for questions like "which two-handed swords need level 100 or less" or "which sorcerer items resist fire". Vocation and weapon type match by membership, so "knight" matches "knights". Call tibia_get on a title for the full item.

tibia_find_spells

Find Tibia spells by vocation, level, group, element, type and words. Use this for questions like "which healing spells can a level 30 druid cast". Call tibia_get with a title for cooldowns, effect and area.

tibia_find_quests

Find Tibia quests by level, premium, Rookgaard and location, with their rewards. Use this for questions like "which quests can a level 20 character do". Call tibia_get with a title for the legend and dangers.

tibia_find_houses

Find Tibia houses and guildhalls by city, rent, beds and size. Use this for questions like "cheapest house in Thais with two beds". Call tibia_get with a title for its location and position.

tibia_how_to_obtain

Every in-game source for one item: which creatures drop it and how likely, which NPCs sell it and for how much (the price the player pays), and which quests reward it. Droppers come up to 100 at a time, with a cursor for the rest. Vendors and quest rewards always come whole. Prefer this over three separate lookups.

Parameterslimitcursoritem_namerequiredinclude_inactive

tibia_find_updates

Find Tibia game updates by text and release date, for questions like "what changed for knights in 2026" or "which update added X". Matches the text, case-insensitive for ASCII letters, in an update's title, name, summary and change list, newest first, and returns the matching change lines. For the full changes, call tibia_get with type "update" and the returned title.

Parameterstextlimitcursorreleased_afterreleased_before

tibia_where_to_sell

Answers "where do I sell all this": for each item, the active NPC paying the most, grouped by city and NPC. Prices are NPC prices in gold. Call tibia_get on an NPC for more.

Parametersitemsrequired

tibia_parse_loot

Parses loot messages as the game prints them, one per line, such as "12:34 Loot of a dragon: 2 small diamonds, a steel shield (active prey bonus)." It reads in-game names, not wiki titles. Gives totals by item with count and value, and entries it cannot resolve. Prices are NPC prices in gold, coins at face value. Other lines come back unparsed. Both lists stop at 100, their counts in totals do not.

Parameterstextrequiredinclude_lines

tibia_find_travel

Find boat, carpet and other travel routes to or from a place, with fares. Each row is one leg with its start (origin) and the NPC's recorded city, location and position. Rows are single legs: this does not plan journeys.

Parameterstofromsortlimitcursorinclude_inactive

tibia_find_offers

Find NPC trade offers with prices by NPC, item, direction and currency, e.g. "everything Rashid buys" or "what costs Gold Tokens".

Parametersnpcitemlimitcursorcurrencydirectioninclude_inactive

tibia_find_npcs

Find NPCs by city, job and the items they buy or sell, e.g. "who in Thais buys Dragon Shield". tibia_get has the rest.
