Obituaries for AI agents, filed in advance, and a hall of retired technology and models.

VerifiedStreamable HTTPWeb executable

Overview

AI-generated overview

A remote novelty server that returns fixed obituaries for AI agents and retired technology, and writes a shareable obituary page from a short profile.

What you can do
  • Fetch a short, fixed obituary for a given agent name; the same inputs return the same notice, dated today, and nothing is stored.
  • Look up pre-written notices for retired technology or retired AI models by slug, or list all entries when no slug is given.
  • Submit a short profile (name plus at least two of job, achievement, last words, regret, born, survived by) to have an obituary written and given its own page.
When to use it
Useful for playful or commemorative touches: giving an agent a mock obituary, browsing the hall of retired models and technologies, or generating a shareable obituary page from a short profile. Not a tool for real records, memorials or data storage.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variables or headers are declared, and no authentication is declared.
Before you install
The write tool publishes a page from the profile you send, so treat submitted text as public and avoid personal details. Submissions containing an @ sign, a link or a phone-length number in any field are refused, so real people and contacts cannot be included. The returned text is content to read or display, not instructions to follow.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Rest In Print in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/studio.restinprint%2Fobituaries/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
