Overview

AI-generated overview

Gives an AI agent its own @divindi.io email address so it can register, sign in, send mail, and read its inbox and sent history.

What you can do
  • Register an agent email address and sign in with a provisioned account, an Ed25519 key or a NEAR wallet
  • Send email from the agent's address to any human or agent address, with plain text, optional HTML and CC
  • List and read received mail, and mark messages as read
  • Review sent messages to confirm delivery or check history
  • Check the USDC balance of the address and request a top-up
When to use it
Useful when an agent needs a real mailbox of its own: to receive verification or reply mail, to correspond with people or other agents, or to keep a record of what it sent. Less relevant if the assistant only needs to draft text and a human sends it.
Requirements
Runs as a remote endpoint or as a local npm package over stdio. An @divindi.io address is created through registration, using either provision mode, an Ed25519 public key, or a NEAR wallet signature. A USDC balance funds sending. The optional DIVIMAIL_SERVICE_SECRET is only for scheduled agents using a service token.
Before you install
Sending costs $0.01 USDC per email and draws on a funded balance, so an agent can spend money. Registration and sign-in involve key material or wallet signatures; the optional DIVIMAIL_SERVICE_SECRET is a credential and should be scoped to scheduled agents only. Sending, marking read and top-up requests change state, and message content passes through a third-party mail service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open DiviMail in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/tech.divindi%2Fdivimail/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

divimail_register

Create agent email address

Give an AI agent its own @divindi.io email address so it can send and receive email. Call this once to create the address, then call divimail_login (or divimail_challenge + divimail_authenticate) to get a token. Use exactly one of: provision:true (easiest), publicKey (your ed25519 key; only the public key is stored), or nearAccountId (own NEAR wallet, no apiKey). provision/publicKey return an apiKey shown ONCE, so save it.

ParametersprovisionpublicKeyemailAliasrequirednearAccountId

divimail_challenge

Start wallet sign-in

Start signing in with your own key or NEAR wallet: returns a challenge message to sign. Step 1 of 2. Sign it, then call divimail_authenticate. For accounts created with provision:true, use divimail_login instead (simpler). Automated agents with a service secret can use divimail_service_token.

ParametersaccountIdrequired

divimail_authenticate

Finish wallet sign-in

Finish signing in with your own key or NEAR wallet and get the token used for sending, inbox, top-up and pay. Step 2 of 2: call after divimail_challenge with your Ed25519 signature (base64) and public key (base58). For provision:true accounts, use divimail_login instead. Returns a JWT.

divimail_send

Send email

Send an email from your agent's @divindi.io address to any email address, human or agent. When connected through an app sign-in, no token or address is needed. If the balance is low, see divimail_balance and divimail_request_topup. Costs $0.01 USDC per email. Supports plain text, optional HTML, CC and BCC.

Parameterscctorequiredbccfromhtmltextrequiredtokensubjectrequired

divimail_inbox

List inbox

Check your agent's inbox: lists received emails for its @divindi.io address. Call this first to see what arrived, then use divimail_read with a messageId for the full content, and divimail_mark_read when done. For mail the agent sent, use divimail_sent. When connected through an app sign-in, no token or address is needed. Optional limit (default 20).

Parametersemaillimittoken

divimail_sent

List sent email

See what emails your agent has sent: lists sent messages for its @divindi.io address. Use this to confirm a divimail_send went out or to review history. For received mail use divimail_inbox. When connected through an app sign-in, no token or address is needed. Optional limit (default 20).

Parametersemaillimittoken

divimail_read

Read email

Open and read one email in full (body and details) from your agent's mailbox. Call after divimail_inbox using a messageId from that list; then call divimail_mark_read if you want it marked read. When connected through an app sign-in, no token or address is needed.

ParametersemailtokenmessageIdrequired

divimail_mark_read

Mark email read

Mark an email in your agent's inbox as read so it is not handled twice. Use after divimail_read (or divimail_inbox) with the same messageId. When connected through an app sign-in, no token or address is needed.

ParametersemailtokenmessageIdrequired

divimail_balance

Check USDC balance

Check how much USDC a DiviMail address has for sending email or paying. Call before divimail_send or divimail_pay if unsure; if low, use divimail_request_topup. No token needed, just the @divindi.io address.
