Tailor Platform for AI assistants: search, list and read the platform documentation.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that lets an assistant search, list and read Tailor Platform's public documentation.

What you can do
Search the body text of Tailor Platform's public documentation and get matching pages with excerpts, using literal, case-insensitive matching on exact terms. List the documentation table of contents with each page's id, title, source, section and summary, optionally narrowed by source or section. Fetch the Markdown source of a single page by id, with the page URL on the first line for citation; long pages return a heading outline and can be read part by part via a section argument.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to answer questions about Tailor Platform or look up how its features work, and you want answers grounded in the official public docs rather than general knowledge. Start with search when you know the terms, and fall back to listing when search misses.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at mcp.tailor.tech; no packages, environment variables, headers or authentication are declared. Network access to the endpoint is required.
Before you install
Read-only documentation access: the tools only search, list and fetch pages, with no writing or deletion. Content comes from Tailor Platform's public docs, so answers are limited to what those pages cover.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Tailor in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/tech.tailor%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

fetch_knowledge

Read a Tailor Platform documentation page

Return the Markdown source of one documentation page, addressed by an id from search_knowledge or list_knowledge. The first line is the page's URL, for citation. Long pages come back as a heading outline instead; pass section to read one part of them.

list_knowledge

List Tailor Platform documentation pages

List the documentation table of contents: the id, title, source, section and summary of every page. Use this to see what exists when a search does not find the right words; prefer search_knowledge when you know what you are looking for. Narrow the listing with source or section, since the full listing is large and is cut at 500 entries.

search_knowledge

Search Tailor Platform documentation

Search the body text of Tailor Platform's public documentation and return matching pages with an excerpt. Start here for most questions, then pass an id to fetch_knowledge to read a page in full. Matching is literal and case-insensitive, so prefer the exact terms that would appear in the docs. This covers published documentation only; it cannot see a user's own application data.

83% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
