StoreReady: Whether AI app builders produce apps that pass App Store review.
Overview
AI-generated overview
Lets an assistant check whether apps produced by AI mobile-app builders would pass Apple App Store review.
- What it does
- StoreReady MCP exposes a single tool, compare_app_builders, which can be filtered by builder, verdict, or a result limit. It reports what a given AI app builder outputs, whether the source can be exported, who submits the binary, and which App Store guidelines apply. Each verdict cites the source that settles it and the date it was read, and unsettled questions are returned as unknown.
- When to use it
- Useful when evaluating or comparing AI mobile-app builders and you need to know whether the resulting app is likely to clear Apple App Store review. It suits developers or teams choosing a builder before committing to it.
- Requirements
- Runs locally as a stdio process, typically launched with npx from the npm package storeready-mcp. Node.js and network access for the package download are needed. No API key, signup, environment variables, or headers are required. It can also serve streamable HTTP on a local port.
Before you install
The tool only returns review-related information and does not submit or publish anything itself. Verdicts are limited to what the cited sources settle, and unsettled questions come back as unknown, so results should not be treated as a guarantee of App Store approval.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open StoreReady MCP in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.
