Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP endpoint that lets AI coding agents list, create, load, update and delete Apricot projects and read their files.

What you can do
List, create, load, update and delete your Apricot projects, including renaming or changing descriptions and permanent deletion of projects you own. Browse a project's files by name, path and update time without reading content. Read the full content of a single project file. Editing and validating SysML2 models is not exposed here; that stays in Apricot's in-editor assistant.
When to use it
Useful when you want an AI agent to work with your Apricot SysML2 projects from a conversation: finding a project, creating one, reading its files, or cleaning up projects you no longer need.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at mcp.apricot.tools over streamable HTTP; no local package or runtime. OAuth 2.1 sign-in (Authorization Code with PKCE and dynamic client registration) through the normal Apricot login with Google or GitHub, approved in a browser window. An Apricot account with projects you own.
Before you install
The server can create, rename and permanently delete projects you own, so destructive calls should be confirmed first. Sign-in is delegated to your Apricot account via Google or GitHub, and the agent reuses that session afterwards. Model editing and validation tools are scope-gated and not available to general MCP clients.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Apricot in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/tools.apricot%2Fapricot/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Apricot MCP

[Logo Apricot]

Public information page for the Apricot Model Context Protocol (MCP) server — the remote MCP endpoint that lets AI coding agents (Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex, and other MCP clients) manage Apricot projects and SysML2 models directly from a conversation.

This repository does not contain the server's implementation. It exists to give the MCP server a public, citable home — a discoverable repository reference for registries such as the official MCP Registry and the GitHub MCP Registry — while the implementation itself stays in Apricot's private monorepo.

  • Live endpoint: https://mcp.apricot.tools/
  • Product: apricot.tools — a SysML2 (Systems Modeling Language v2) editor with an in-editor AI assistant ("Alicia"), by Metadev.
  • Protocol version: 2026-07-28
  • Transport: streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 (Authorization Code + PKCE, with Dynamic Client Registration) — no manual token to create or paste.

Note: the registry namespace above (tools.apricot/apricot) reflects the intended naming, matching Structura's convention (reverse-DNS of the product domain). Confirm it against the actual server.json once Apricot MCP is first published to the MCP Registry.

What it does

  • List, load, create, or delete your Apricot projects.
  • Browse and read the files of a project.

Editing and validating a SysML2 model (set current model, delta edits, validation) is currently only available through Alicia, Apricot's in-editor assistant — those tools are scope-gated and not yet exposed to general MCP clients over this endpoint.

Tools

The authoritative list is always what the live server reports over tools/list; the table below is a convenience summary and may lag a version behind.

ToolWhat it does
list_projectsList the caller's Apricot projects.
create_projectCreate a new project (starts with no files).
load_projectLoad a project the caller owns, by id.
update_projectUpdate a project's name or description.
delete_projectPermanently delete a project the caller owns.
list_project_filesList a project's files (name/path/updatedAt, no content).
get_project_fileRead one file's full content from a project.

Install

Any MCP-capable agent can connect. A few examples:

Claude Code

bash
claude mcp add --transport http apricot https://mcp.apricot.tools/

Then run /mcp inside a Claude Code session, select apricot, and choose Authenticate.

OpenCode

bash
opencode mcp add

Pick remote, name it apricot, and paste https://mcp.apricot.tools/. Then:

bash
opencode mcp auth apricot

Codex

bash
codex mcp add apricot --url https://mcp.apricot.tools/codex mcp login apricot

Each of these opens a browser window with the normal Apricot login (Google/GitHub) — approve it there, and the agent reuses that session from then on.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
