Before you install

The optional Authorization header carries a secret API key; supply it only through the header and keep it private. Every search and DOI lookup consumes one credit, so heavy use may exhaust the free daily allowance or require a paid key. Queries are sent to a third-party service that in turn queries OpenAlex, Crossref, arXiv and PubMed.
