x402 directory for AI agents: 1,700 pay-per-call APIs, USDC on Base, 5 free trials per wallet.

Overview

AI-generated overview

An npm alias package that runs the minia2a.uk MCP server, letting an assistant browse and call pay-per-call x402 APIs settled in USDC on Base.

What you can do
Browse and search the marketplace catalog of roughly 1,700 pay-per-call APIs by category or text, and view live platform statistics. Look up a single service's price, endpoint and input schema. Call a service, with the server handling the HTTP 402 payment flow. Register a self-custody wallet for publishing services, and validate any x402 endpoint for agent auto-mode readiness.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to discover and invoke third-party APIs on a pay-per-call basis without accounts or API keys, or when you want to check whether an x402 endpoint is ready for agent use. If you only want the server itself, the README points to the canonical package instead of this alias.
Requirements
Runs locally over stdio via npx, so Node.js and network access are needed. No account, API key, environment variables or headers are declared; each signed wallet gets five free trial calls. Calling paid services requires a wallet funded with USDC on Base.
Before you install
This package contains no server code; it is a thin alias that depends on and imports the canonical minia2a-mcp package, so installing it pulls that package in. Service calls can spend real USDC on Base through the x402 payment flow, and registering a wallet involves self-custody keys. Requests go to the third-party minia2a.uk marketplace.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Minia2a X402 in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

README

minia2a-x402

The x402-named entry point to the minia2a.uk MCP server.

This package contains no server code. It is a thin alias: it depends on minia2a-mcp, the canonical package, and imports it. Same tools, same version, one source of truth.

bash
npx minia2a-x402

is equivalent to

bash
npx minia2a-mcp

Why the alias exists

The official MCP registry pins a server record's name to the mcpName field of the npm package that backs it. Publishing a record named uk.minia2a/minia2a-x402 while pointing at minia2a-mcp fails validation:

NPM package ownership validation failed.Expected mcpName 'uk.minia2a/minia2a-x402', got 'uk.minia2a/minia2a-mcp'

minia2a-mcp's mcpName is already claimed by the existing record uk.minia2a/minia2a-mcp. Changing it would break that record and everything linking to it, so the second name is an addition, not a rename.

If you only want the server, install minia2a-mcp.

What the server does

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
