Remote MCP server that lets an assistant search an LED catalog and calculate operating points (flux, lm/W, price per lumen) by package, CCT and current.
What you can do
Search the LED catalog without calculation: filter by package and CCT, plus marking, voltage, CRI, quantity, availability and price
Calculate an operating point for a given package, CCT and drive current, returning flux, lm/W and price per lumen from datasheet curves
Control result size and scope: default 5 positions up to a limit of 10, and optionally include all positions rather than only in-stock and in-transit ones
Return results as a table with a completeness flag, so the assistant can report positions that could not be calculated
When to use it
Useful when choosing LEDs for a design or BOM and you want an assistant to compare candidates by package, color temperature and drive current, or to get a quick price-per-lumen estimate from datasheet curves instead of reading datasheets by hand.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no authentication, environment variables or headers are declared. The assistant must supply package and CCT as strings and current in mA as a number.
Before you install
The service states it runs in test mode. Availability does not guarantee that an order can be placed, and catalog prices are indicative rather than a commercial offer. Results may be incomplete when data is missing, and responses can carry a hidden message meant for the user.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
