Wafermap is a remote x402 layer that lets an assistant browse 35 pay-per-call AI resources, inspect their schemas, and run them by paying in USDG or USDC.
What you can do
List and search Wafermap's 35 pay-per-call resources with prices and categories
Read a resource's input schema, example input, output and endpoint before calling it
Run a resource by submitting a signed x402 payment payload
Search the open x402 Bazaar index for third-party paid APIs and check whether Wafermap can pay them
List tokens available for swaps on a given network, including stock tokens on Robinhood Chain
When to use it
Use it when an assistant needs on-demand access to paid AI capabilities such as LLMs, image generation or audio, or wants to discover other x402-payable APIs, and you are prepared to pay per call in stablecoins.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package or local runtime is needed for browsing. Running paid resources requires a signed x402 v2 payment payload supplied in the call's metadata, funded with USDG on Robinhood Chain or USDC on Solana, Base, Arbitrum or Polygon. The server declares no authentication, environment variables or headers.
Before you install
Calls to wafermap_call spend real money at the resource's listed USD price, and the payment payload is a signed authorization you must produce yourself. Invalid input is rejected before payment, but prices and networks should be checked first. Discovery queries the third-party Coinbase CDP x402 Bazaar index, and token listings include third-party contract addresses.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/xyz.wafermap%2Fwafermap/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Lists Wafermap's pay-per-call resources (35 in total) with id, name, category, USD price and a one-line summary. Use it first to find the right resource id; then read its input schema with wafermap_resource_schema and run it with wafermap_call. Categories: LLMs, image generation, audio (speech and transcription), vision, web (reading and translation), on-chain data on Robinhood Chain and Base, tokenized stocks, Polymarket prediction markets and content tools. Free, no payment needed.

wafermap_resource_schema
Get one resource's input schema
Returns everything needed to call one Wafermap resource: its USD price, the JSON Schema of its input, a ready-to-use example input, what it returns, and its HTTP endpoint. Use it after wafermap_resources and before wafermap_call so the input is valid (invalid input is rejected before any payment). Free, no payment needed.
Parametersidrequired
wafermap_call
Run a paid resource (x402)
Runs one Wafermap resource and pays its exact USD price over x402, in USDG on Robinhood Chain or USDC on Solana, Base, Arbitrum or Polygon. Send a signed x402 v2 PaymentPayload in params._meta["x402/payment"]; without it the tool returns isError with the payment requirements (price, networks, payTo) to sign. The work runs before the payment settles, so failed calls are never charged; a successful call returns the result plus a receipt with the transaction hash in _meta["x402/payment-response"]. Agents without an x402 wallet can use the Wafermap CLI (`wafermap mcp`), which pays automatically within spending caps.

wafermap_discover
Find third-party x402 services
Searches the open x402 Bazaar index (run by Coinbase CDP) for paid APIs outside Wafermap's own catalog, such as weather, web search, data enrichment or token prices. Returns each service's URL, HTTP method, price, accepted networks, an example input and whether Wafermap can pay it (payable = accepts USDG on Robinhood Chain or USDC on Solana, Base, Arbitrum or Polygon). Use it when no Wafermap resource fits the task. Free, no payment needed.
Parameterslimitqueryrequired
wafermap_tokens
List swappable tokens
Lists the tokens a Wafermap wallet can swap through the KyberSwap aggregator on one network, with symbol, name and contract address. On Robinhood Chain this includes ETH, WETH, USDG and every Robinhood stock token (TSLA, NVDA, AAPL…); on Base it includes ETH, WETH and USDC. Use it to resolve a ticker to its contract address before quoting or executing a swap with the Wafermap CLI. Read-only and free; it does not trade.
