Free: runs the checks a paid call runs before payment (name rules, availability, delegation, limits) without creating an invoice, and returns the price. For zone_create and secondary_create of a new zone it answers delegation_missing with the zone's own nameserver pair (expected_ns) and an ns_ticket: set exactly those NS records at the domain's registrar, wait until the registry publishes them, then call again with ns_ticket. This opens a nameserver offer (limited per caller), so it is not read-only.

Free: whether a domain name is available and its price in sats (offered TLDs and live 1-year prices per TLD: info, domains.tlds and domains.prices). Tightly rate-limited. If the answer carries a registry notice (tld_notice), show it to your user before they pay.

Creates a hosted, DNSSEC-signed zone on our nameservers. First call check (tool zone_create): a new zone gets its own nameserver pair, which must be set at the registrar before the payment step; pass the ns_ticket from that answer. The answer gives the zone token once (keep it: it manages the zone), the nameservers and the DS record. Paid, no account.
