Authentication: OAuth (your client opens an Apify login once), or the header Authorization: Bearer <APIFY_TOKEN>. A free Apify account includes $5 of monthly credit, which covers about 2,500 jobs or 1,600 companies. Agents without an account can buy a prepaid, spend-capped token over x402 or MPP at agi.apify.com and use it as the Bearer token.

Tips for agents

• Always set maxItems. It caps both cost and response size.
• To save context tokens, use descriptionFormat: "none" (job tools) or descriptionMaxLength, plus omitEmptyFields: true.
• Filters run server-side and filtered-out items are never charged. Prefer titleKeywords and postedWithinDays over post-filtering.
• For recurring checks, set onlyNewOrUpdated: true with a stateKey to get and pay for only new items.

Data & compliance

All five tools return business data published for job seekers and buyers. They return no personal profiles, no personal emails and no named contact persons.
