On first connect you provide your Coursebox portal name (myportal from myportal.coursebox.ai) and your Coursebox Open API key, found under Settings → Integrations → Open API. The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.
read tools are read-only; write tools mutate data (clients should confirm them); meta tools report usage, manage your subscription or send a feature request.
*Pro has a fair use limit of 10,000 tool calls a month on this server. For more, write to [email protected].
Pro covers this server only. Subscribe with coursebox_upgrade (it returns a Stripe Checkout link). Cancel any time with coursebox_cancel_subscription: Pro continues to the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period, and running coursebox_upgrade before then undoes the cancel. Get course structure
Read the sections (blocks) of a course, each with its lessons (activities), in order. Use it to find section and lesson ids. API: GET /api/Blocks with a filter on courseId.

WRITE (AI, not idempotent). Fill or change ONE lesson from a plain-language instruction. Coursebox's own AI writes text, layouts, images, video, translations, quizzes and assignments, and saves them. Send one lesson per call and put any exact text or exact quiz questions in the message. Check assistantMessage: the AI may ask a question. A call can take up to 5 minutes. Limit: 30 requests per minute per user. API: POST /api/Activities/editPageContentAgentic.
