Enboarder MCP by usefulapi

Use your Enboarder account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Read workflows, forms, brands, locations and custom fields, and launch, update or cancel workflows. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://enboarder.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http enboarder https://enboarder.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Enboarder credentials.

On first connect you provide an Enboarder API key and your data region (Enboarder → Settings → Integration → Extensions). An admin must switch the REST API on. The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.

Launch a workflow (basic)

WRITE: start an onboarding workflow for one employee with one manager (this can send messages to the employee and manager). Needs the employee full name, one contact (email or mobile), the manager full name and contact, and the start date. mode 0 (default) does not launch if the external id already exists. POST /restapi/v1/startwf/basic.
