On first connect you provide your GPS Insight username and an App Token, or the username and an API user password. Create the App Token under Account → Manage Users → Manage access to api V2 functions → API App. API access must be on for the account, and GPS Insight may charge for it. GPS Insight's terms let it use Customer Data to develop and train AI and machine-learning technologies. The server validates the login and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.
read tools are read-only; write tools mutate data (clients should confirm them); meta tools report usage, manage your subscription or send a feature request.
*Pro has a fair use limit of 10,000 tool calls a month on this server. For more, write to [email protected].
Pro covers this server only. Subscribe with gpsinsight_upgrade (it returns a Stripe Checkout link). Cancel any time with gpsinsight_cancel_subscription: Pro continues to the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period, and running gpsinsight_upgrade before then undoes the cancel. List the vehicles on the account with their ids, VINs and labels. Use details=1 for all columns, or a comma list such as make,model,odometer. Good first call to find a vehicle. GET /v2/vehicle/list.
