Inzetrooster MCP by usefulapi

Use your Inzetrooster account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Read shifts and groups, and find the shifts that have no person assigned. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://inzetrooster.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http inzetrooster https://inzetrooster.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Inzetrooster credentials.

On first connect you provide an Inzetrooster account name (the part after inzetrooster.nl/ in your address) and an Inzetrooster API token (premium accounts only; ask Inzetrooster support). The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.

inzetrooster_list_shifts

List shifts

List shifts (diensten) of the Inzetrooster account, with group, location, time and the assigned person. Without filters the API returns the next 12 months of published shifts. Includes private groups and volunteer names. Set open_only to keep only shifts with no person assigned (applies to the returned page only). Inzetrooster API: GET /<account>/api/v1/shifts.

List the groups (ploegen) that have shifts in a date window, with the number of shifts per group. Derived from the shifts on the first page (up to 500 shifts): a group with no shifts in the window does not appear. Includes private groups. Use the ids with inzetrooster_list_shifts.
