goodturn-mcp

Remote MCP servers for 25 free, read-only everyday helpers by Good Turn Studio: money, health, jobs, travel, shopping, halal checks, football and scripture reading. One Cloudflare Worker turns each product's public OpenAPI spec into an MCP server, so any assistant that speaks MCP (Claude, ChatGPT, Alexa+, Cursor, VS Code and others) can use them.

How it works

  • build.py reads each product's live openapi.json and writes products.js: one tool per GET operation, named from its operationId, with inputs from its parameters. Descriptions are tidied into plain tool descriptions.
  • worker.mjs is the MCP server: initialize, tools/list and tools/call, which calls the product's own API and returns its answer. Answers with a say field carry a ready-made summary.
  • servers.json lists every server for the official MCP Registry (as io.github.GoodTurnStudio/<slug>). The Publish to the MCP Registry workflow logs in with GitHub OIDC and runs publish.py; publish.ps1 does the same from Windows.

Screen one company against all four standards

Screen one company against all four standards. Returns a 'say' sentence, the live price, the consolidated share count, the filing figures used, the business screen per standard ('business': main_business, by_standard pass/fail/review, excluded_under), and each standard's ratio, threshold and verdict. In each screens entry, 'compliant' is the overall verdict (false when that standard excludes the company's business, null when the business needs a closer look) and 'debt_compliant' is the debt test alone. Verdicts within one percent of a threshold are flagged borderline. A company name (for example nvidia) also works.

How much of a dividend to give to charity

How much of a dividend to give to charity. Returns the company's purification ratio (interest income over total revenue, from its latest 10-K that reports interest income; 'latest_annual_filing' and 'note' say when that is older than the latest 10-K) and, if a dividend amount is given, the amount to give to charity. For a company whose main business every standard excludes, 'business_screen' explains that purification does not make it permissible.
