功能
每個專案對應一個純 Markdown 日誌檔，包含 Current state、Decisions log、Incidents、Handoff for next session 等標準章節。工具讓助理能讀取整份日誌、單一章節或簡短交接摘要，追加帶時間戳的項目，替換或追加章節，以及建立新日誌。以 SQLite FTS5 建立的索引提供跨所有日誌的排序全文搜尋與片段，另有近期變更、統計、重疊檢查與中繼資料瀏覽。選用工具可把規則寫入 CLAUDE.md，讓這個習慣自動執行。
適用情境
適合助理同時處理多個專案、需要在 session 之間延續情境的情況：決策與其原因、缺陷的根本原因與修正、目前狀態與交接說明。若希望這些紀錄以純檔案形式保存在本機而非託管服務中，值得加入。
執行需求
以 stdio 執行的本機程序；需要 Python 3.10+ 與 mcp 套件。環境變數 JOURNAL_ROOTS（要掃描的資料夾，以分號分隔，預設 ~/Desktop 與 ~/Documents）與 JOURNAL_HOME（索引位置，預設 ~/.journal）。僅限桌面端。選用的市集工具與 rclone 備份需要網路存取，配對時還需要 vibedna.ai 帳號權杖。
安裝前請注意
日誌核心不會發出網路請求，日誌留在磁碟上，但選用的市集工具會連線 vibedna.ai，journal_pair 需要帳號權杖；journal_get 可能回傳結帳連結，因此可能產生購買。journal_install_rule 會寫入 CLAUDE.md，journal_backup_to_drive 會把日誌複製到 rclone 遠端。追加、更新與建立類工具會寫入你的日誌檔。

安裝

在 SourceWeft 中

  1. 開啟 儀表板中的 VibeDNA Journal，將其新增到工作區。
  2. 為需要使用其工具的對話啟用該服務。

Desktop only，透過 STDIO。 STDIO 服務會啟動本機處理程序，因此需要 SourceWeft 桌面主機。

VibeDNA Journal MCP

One journal file per project that your AI reads at session start and updates as it works.

Journal gives every project one plain markdown file (*_JOURNAL.md). Your AI reads it when a session starts and appends to it as work ships: decisions with their reasons, bugs with root cause and fix, current state, roadmap, and a handoff note for the next session. Ranked full-text search finds an entry across every project's journal at once. One optional tool adds a rule to your CLAUDE.md so Claude Code keeps the habit without being asked.

  • Runs locally over stdio. Python 3.10+ and the mcp package.
  • The journaling core makes no network calls. Your journals stay on your disk.
  • Optional marketplace tools browse and download journals from vibedna.ai, only when you call them.

JOURNAL_ROOTS is the list of folders to scan for journal files, separated by ;. Without it, Journal scans ~/Desktop and ~/Documents.

Then ask Claude: "Install the journal CLAUDE.md rule globally." That is the step that makes it read and write the journals on its own.
