On first connect you provide a Hotjar API Client ID and a Client Secret (Hotjar → Settings → API). The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.
read tools are read-only; write tools mutate data (clients should confirm them); meta tools report usage, manage your subscription or send a feature request.
*Pro has a fair use limit of 10,000 tool calls a month on this server. For more, write to [email protected].
Pro covers this server only. Subscribe with hotjar_upgrade (it returns a Stripe Checkout link). Cancel any time with hotjar_cancel_subscription: Pro continues to the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period, and running hotjar_upgrade before then undoes the cancel. List surveys
List the surveys of one Hotjar site: id, name, type (link, full_screen, popover), enabled state and creation time. Set with_questions to include each survey's questions. Returns results and next_cursor (null on the last page).

List the responses to one survey, newest first (the API cannot filter by date). Each response has answers (question_id, answer, comment, tags, sentiment), device, browser, country, origin URL and user attributes. Needs an Ask Scale plan. Returns results and next_cursor (null on the last page).
