pretix MCP by usefulapi

Read events, products, quotas, orders, tickets, check-in lists and waiting lists from the hosted pretix service. Check attendees in or out when requested.

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://pretix.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http pretix https://pretix.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and you sign in with your pretix account.

Sign in through pretix OAuth and approve read, write and profile permissions. Only hosted pretix.eu accounts are supported. Your pretix permissions determine which organizers you can access. This server does not create orders, take payments or publish events.

Attendee data passes to your chosen AI client. Revoke access under pretix user settings → Authorized applications. Billing is per pretix user, identified by the normalized login email; changing that email changes the billing identity.

Pro covers this server only. Subscribe with pretix_upgrade (it returns a Stripe Checkout link). Cancel any time with pretix_cancel_subscription: Pro continues to the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period, and running pretix_upgrade before then undoes the cancel. List the waiting list entries of an event: who waits for which product, since when, and whether a voucher was already sent. Contains personal data (name, email, phone). Read-only: no voucher is sent. GET /organizers/{organizer}/events/{event}/waitinglistentries/.

pretix_checkin_position

Check in a ticket

WRITE: check one ticket in (or out) on a check-in list. Records a real check-in in pretix and cannot be undone from here. Identify the ticket by position_id (from pretix_list_checkin_list_positions) or by ticket_secret (the scanned QR code content). pretix applies its own rules: the call is refused for unpaid, canceled, blocked, already-used or wrong-product tickets (the reason is returned), and it never forces a check-in. A required question that is unanswered comes back as incomplete with the question list; answer it with `answers`. One ticket per call. POST /organizers/{organizer}/events/{event}/checkinlists/{list}/positions/{id}/redeem/.
