Your AI pays with a TunaPay prepaid card. You approve each payment in Telegram or on tunapay.ai.
Overview
Lets an AI assistant pay online with a TunaPay prepaid USD Visa card, where each payment needs your approval in Telegram or on tunapay.ai.
- What you can do
- Check wallet balance and how approvals reach you
- Look up your cards (last four digits, status, balance) and find which card has worked at a given merchant
- Request a one-time card for a single purchase, or a recharge of an existing card
- Check the status of a pending, completed or expired request
- Retrieve the card details of an unused one-time card so the assistant can fill a checkout
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to complete online purchases or subscriptions on your behalf but keep a manual approval step before any money moves. Suited to members who already hold a topped-up TunaPay wallet and want one-time cards rather than exposing a main card.
- Requirements
- Remote endpoint at tunapay.ai over streamable HTTP, with OAuth sign-in or a TunaPay plugin key sent as an Authorization bearer header. A TunaPay membership-tier account with a topped-up wallet is needed; the key is created on the member page. A local Node.js 18+ stdio variant is also described, using the TUNAPAY_KEY environment variable.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open TunaPay Pay in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.tunapay%2Fpay/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

TunaPay MCP
Let your AI assistant pay online with a TunaPay prepaid USD Visa card, while you stay in control of every cent.
Works with Claude (desktop and web), Claude Code, Cursor, and any client that speaks the Model Context Protocol.
How it keeps your money safe
- You approve every payment. The AI can only create a pending request. Nothing is charged until you tap approve in Telegram or on tunapay.ai. Requests expire after 10 minutes.
- One card per purchase. Each approved request opens a one-time card loaded with exactly the amount needed. It freezes itself after that one payment.
- Your wallet, your cards. Money only moves from your own TunaPay wallet onto your own card. The plugin cannot send crypto or pay another person.
- Your key, revocable anytime. You create a personal plugin key on the tunapay.ai member page and can revoke it with one click.
1. Get a key
- Sign up at tunapay.ai and top up your wallet.
- Open the member page, go to AI payment plugin, and create a plugin key (it starts with
tpk_).
The plugin is available to TunaPay membership-tier members.
2. Connect your AI
Claude (desktop or claude.ai): no key copying needed
Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste:
Claude opens the TunaPay approval page; sign in and click Allow.
Claude Code
Cursor
Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
Run it locally instead (stdio)
This repository is a zero-dependency local server (Node.js 18+) that talks to the same TunaPay API. Use it with any client that launches local MCP servers:
Tools
Example
"Buy me one month of Cursor Pro."
- The AI checks which card works at Cursor and asks for a one-time card of $20.
- You get a Telegram message and tap Approve.
- The AI fills the checkout with the one-time card. The card freezes after the payment.
Notes
- Cards work for subscriptions and normal online purchases. They cannot top up developer API credit balances (for example the OpenAI or Anthropic consoles).
- Never paste your plugin key into a chat. If a key leaks, revoke it on the member page and create a new one.
