Wire Cash gives an assistant published US bank wire fees, same-day cutoff times and World Bank remittance costs for sending money abroad.
What you can do
Look up one bank's published wire fees, cutoff times, waivers and exchange-rate notes
Rank US banks by published fee for a chosen wire type, for personal or business accounts
Compare money transfer providers by total cost for sending $200 or $500 to Mexico, India or the Philippines
Check same-day wire cutoff times, Fedwire operating hours, 2026 Federal Reserve holidays and whether a date is a Fedwire business day
When to use it
Useful when someone is choosing a bank or transfer provider for a wire, checking whether a payment can go out same day, or comparing the cost of sending money to Mexico, India or the Philippines. It is a reference lookup, not a quote or advice.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint at wire.cash over streamable HTTP; no account, API key, environment variable or header is declared. Network access to the endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Results are published fee schedules and survey data, not quotes or financial advice; banks change fees without notice and the bank's current schedule governs. A fee marked not published does not mean free, and bank wire fees exclude exchange-rate spreads and intermediary or receiving-bank charges. Data is dated (fee schedules 2025-05 to 2026-10, World Bank Q3 2025 survey).
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/cash.wire%2Fwire-cash/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
One US bank's published wire fees: outgoing and incoming domestic wires, international wires sent in dollars or in foreign currency, incoming international wires, same-day cutoff times, fee waivers, what the bank says about its exchange rate, the fee schedule date and the source document link. Personal accounts cover 17 banks and credit unions; business accounts cover 9 banks.

compare_bank_wire_fees
Compare wire fees across banks
Ranks US banks from lowest to highest published fee for one kind of wire (outgoing or incoming, domestic or international, in dollars or foreign currency), for personal or business accounts. Pass 2 to 17 banks, or none to rank every bank covered. Banks that do not publish the fee or do not offer the wire are listed last with the reason.

find_cheapest_way_to_send_money
Cheapest way to send money abroad
Ranks money transfer providers by total cost (fee plus exchange-rate margin) for sending $200 or $500 from the US to Mexico, India or the Philippines, from the World Bank Remittance Prices Worldwide survey (Q3 2025), with the corridor average, the ECB reference rate in that currency and providers' published fee rules. Filter by how the recipient gets the money.
Same-day wire cutoff times as each bank publishes them (latest first, Eastern time used for sorting), the Fedwire Funds Service operating hours, and the 2026 Federal Reserve holidays. Pass a date to learn whether it is a Fedwire business day and, if not, the next one. Pass a bank to get only its cutoffs.
