The publisher's own server: Wire Cash: bank wire fees and transfer costs

Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted SupportWire MCP server that lets an assistant triage support conversations, reply to customers, and manage customers, tasks and team settings.

What you can do
  • List, read, create, update and assign conversations, and inspect filter options
  • Read, send, edit and delete customer-facing messages, and add internal notes
  • List, read, create and update customers, plus create and manage saved segments
  • List, read, create, update and delete internal tasks linked to conversations
  • List team members and invite, update or remove them; read and update organization details and settings
When to use it
Useful when a support team already runs its inbox on SupportWire and wants an assistant to summarize, triage, reply, assign and follow up on conversations from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini CLI or another MCP client.
Requirements
A SupportWire account and workspace on any plan; the hosted remote endpoint over Streamable HTTP, with OAuth 2.0 sign-in in a browser on first connect (no API keys). Task tools need the Tasks module enabled; team and organization changes need an admin or owner role.
Before you install
Tools act as the signed-in user, so replies, notes and invites are attributed to that person and limited to their role. Many tools write, send, invite, archive or permanently delete data (messages, segments, tasks, team members), and organization settings can be changed. Access is limited to the organization approved during sign-in and can be revoked under OAuth Apps settings.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open SupportWire in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.supportwire%2Fsupportwire-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

SupportWire MCP Server

The official Model Context Protocol server for SupportWire, the AI customer support platform with live chat and a shared inbox built in.

Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini CLI or any MCP client, then list and triage conversations, reply to customers, leave internal notes, manage customers, tasks and segments, and run your team settings in plain language, against your live SupportWire workspace.

This is a hosted remote server. There is nothing to install or run.

Connect

Claude Code

bash
claude mcp add --transport http supportwire https://mcp.supportwire.ai/mcp

Or add it to your MCP config file:

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "supportwire": {      "type": "http",      "url": "https://mcp.supportwire.ai/mcp"    }  }}

Claude Desktop and claude.ai

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
  2. Name it SupportWire and paste https://mcp.supportwire.ai/mcp.
  3. Click Add, then Connect, and approve access in the browser.

ChatGPT

Add a custom MCP connector with the URL https://mcp.supportwire.ai/mcp and complete the sign-in when prompted.

Cursor and VS Code

Add a new remote server with the URL https://mcp.supportwire.ai/mcp, or use the one-click install buttons on the MCP docs page.

Gemini CLI

bash
gemini extensions install https://github.com/supportwire/supportwire-mcp

This repo ships a gemini-extension.json that points Gemini CLI at the hosted server.

Other clients

Any client with remote MCP support: add a new remote server, paste https://mcp.supportwire.ai/mcp, and complete the sign-in when the browser opens.

Verify the connection

Ask: "List my open conversations in SupportWire." Real conversations from your inbox mean you are connected.

Authentication

On first connect your browser opens SupportWire. Sign in, pick the organization to connect, and approve the scopes. The client then holds an access token and calls tools as you (actor=self), so replies, notes and invites are attributed to you. No token or secret goes in your config file.

The server supports OAuth dynamic client registration and PKCE (S256), and publishes standard discovery metadata at https://mcp.supportwire.ai/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server.

Scopes: conversations, messages, notes, contacts, segments, tasks, users and organization, each as :read and :write.

Revoke access any time under Settings → OAuth Apps in SupportWire. Tools only see the organization you approved.

Tools

36 tools in eight areas. Every tool carries MCP annotations (readOnlyHint, destructiveHint), so clients can tell reads from writes from deletes.

AreaToolWhat it does
Conversationslist_conversationsList conversations with filters, sorting and cursor pagination
get_conversationGet full details of one conversation
create_conversationStart a conversation with a customer
update_conversationChange status, spam flag or pinned state
list_conversation_filter_optionsList the values the filters and sort accept

unassign_conversationRemove the assignee
Messageslist_messagesList customer-facing messages in a conversation
create_messageSend a customer-visible reply (HTML body)
update_messageReplace one of your own message bodies
delete_messagePermanently delete one of your own messages
Noteslist_notesList internal, team-only notes on a conversation
create_noteAdd an internal note
Customerslist_customersList customers with cursor pagination

Taskslist_tasksList internal to-dos, optionally linked to a conversation
get_taskGet one task

Organizationget_organizationGet organization details
update_organizationChange the display name (owner only)
get_organization_settingsRead locale, AI and guest options, business hours and feature flags
update_organization_settingsChange guest submission, the AI assistant, bot configuration and locale

IDs are opaque: the assistant gets them from a prior tool call (for example list_conversations before get_conversation). List tools return one page at a time. Task tools need the Tasks module enabled for your organization. Team and organization changes need an admin or owner role.

Example prompts

  • "List my open conversations, newest first, and summarize the three oldest."
  • "Reply to the first open conversation: we are looking into it and will update you today."
  • "Assign the conversation with [email protected] to me and add an internal note: customer prefers email follow-up."
  • "Create a task to follow up with [email protected] on Friday and link it to that conversation."
  • "Mark the conversation with [email protected] as spam."
  • "Create a segment called Trial users and list who is in it."
  • "Invite [email protected] to the team as an agent."
