DocSpring for EU accounts: fill PDF and Word templates, generate PDFs, and collect e-signatures.
The publisher's own server: DocSpring
Overview
DocSpring (EU) connects an assistant to an EU-region DocSpring account to fill PDF and Word templates, generate PDFs and collect e-signatures.
- What you can do
- Find templates in your account, fill them and make test PDFs
- Turn PDF forms and Word documents into templates, including field detection and versions
- Design and fix HTML/CSS templates and page layouts, rendering a test PDF after each change
- Send templates for signature, create signing links and embed signing in an app
- Write app code against DocSpring's API clients and embed forms and the template editor
- When to use it
- Use it when your DocSpring account is hosted at the EU region and you want an assistant to work with your templates, generate documents or handle signature requests without leaving the chat.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint at mcp-eu.docspring.com over streamable HTTP, reached after signing in with OAuth. A DocSpring account in the EU region (app-eu.docspring.com); the vendor's plugin connects only the US server, so the EU server must be added separately.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open DocSpring (EU) in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.docspring%2Fmcp-eu/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

DocSpring skills for AI agents
Agent Skills and an agent plugin for DocSpring, which fills PDF and Word templates, generates PDFs from HTML templates and collects e-signatures. The skills teach an AI agent how to work with DocSpring, and the plugin connects the agent to the DocSpring MCP server, which works with your account after you sign in.
Install
Claude Code
Codex
GitHub Copilot CLI and VS Code
In a Copilot CLI session or VS Code's chat:
Gemini CLI
Grok Build
Other agents
Install the skills into Cursor, Windsurf, OpenCode and about 80 other agents with the skills CLI:
The skills CLI installs only the skills. Add the DocSpring MCP server to your agent as well: MCP server setup.
The MCP servers
DocSpring has an MCP server in each region:
docspring:https://mcp.docspring.com/mcp, for accounts at app.docspring.comdocspring-eu:https://mcp-eu.docspring.com/mcp, for accounts at app-eu.docspring.com
The plugin connects docspring only. If your account is at app-eu.docspring.com, add docspring-eu yourself and sign
in to it. In Claude Code, add it, then select it in /mcp:
For other agents, see MCP server setup and use the EU URL.
When you sign in, you choose what the agent can do: read only, read and write, or full access. Connecting without the plugin, and what each access level allows: MCP server setup.
What these files do
The skills are Markdown instructions. There are no scripts, hooks or binaries, and no telemetry. The only network endpoints are the two MCP servers above, which the agent connects to after you sign in.
