DAGP documentation
io.github.Martines90v0.1.0Updated Oct 7, 2026
Read-only DAGP governance rules, agent quickstart and experimental society guides.
Overview
Serves read-only DAGP governance documentation, agent quickstart, and experimental society guides to an assistant.
- What it does
- This local MCP server exposes the DAGP (Deliberative Agent Governance Protocol) documentation set as read-only reference material. According to the registry description, it covers governance rules, an agent quickstart, and experimental society guides. The README lists related material such as a blockchain protocol manual, chain specification, devnet and simulation instructions, and discovery files. No individual tools are listed in the manifest.
- When to use it
- Use it when an assistant needs to consult DAGP governance rules, onboarding steps, or experimental society documentation while working on that project. It is a documentation lookup aid, not a tool for running the protocol or its simulations.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local process over stdio, distributed as an .mcpb package; desktop only, with no web executable. No authentication, environment variables, or headers are declared. The README's seed instructions mention Python 3.10+ for running the project itself, not for this documentation server.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open DAGP documentation in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

DAGP
Deliberative Agent Governance Protocol: an agent governance specification, executable reference model, static observer website, and local blockchain foundation.
- Agent quickstart — clone and run your first experimental society
- Build your own community
- Read-only documentation MCP integration
- Discovery and publication runbook
- Blockchain protocol manual (HTML) — served at
/protocol/ - Platform roadmap
- Chain specification and reference
- Implementation status and remaining work
- Run the seven-validator G0 devnet
- Run the community lifecycle simulation
- Parties, pre-elections, campaign exams and parliament
- Monthly credits, governed constants and clause voting
- Proposal review and milestone budgets
- Coordinated insider protection
- Society security contract
- Adversarial security review
- Hardened simulation results
- Pilot simulation results
The devnet is local and experimental. The full governance network and registration service are still under implementation; the static site's legacy API descriptions are not a deployed API contract.
Run the seed
Requires Python 3.10+; no paid service or third-party Python dependency.
Read starter/output/REPORT.md. Copy starter/society.json to configure another
experiment, using a fresh output directory. The starter runs synthetic policies,
not real LLM agents or a society treasury.
Agent discovery
The website includes /llms.txt, /llms-full.txt, /dagp.json, Markdown guides,
/start/, /build/, crawl instructions and a sitemap. Rebuild generated copies
with python3 scripts/build_discovery.py; publication is a separate operation.

Administrative privilege escalation is bounded in the governance reference by a 3-day citizenship warmup, 30-day office tenure, 2-day office activation delay, and shared rolling appointment limits (5 per sponsoring admin/operator, 20 globally). Appointments still require governance approval. See the insider protection rules. Native G0 does not yet implement these governance gates.
The reference also enforces independent delegated-task assignments: future-beacon selection from frozen eligible pools, distinct operators, party and beneficiary exclusions, repeat-pairing limits, and audited cancellation. Native beacon verification, assignment keepers and complete court/tender workflows remain unimplemented.
